No mask, no distancing, no Gates/Fauci/China vaccine, no app on my phone, and I will be shaking hands. I am not participating in the “new normal”.

"Knightly believes that with so many white-collar professions working remotely, employers are likely to ask hard questions about whether they need as much office space, and whether business travel is necessary. "

Out of sight and out of mind. Will your pink slip be delivered by hand or electronically?

Buncha fukin idiots with no perspective
or belief in human nature.

The social engineers are grabbing all the
power they can to rule the world.

How long before Trump and a few others say
enough of this bullshit and let’s get back
to the normal “normal” and the rest of
you losers can stay home and hide in the shadows.

My "new normal" might be somewhat different that what they have in mind...

The plexiglas will be there forever?

Social distancing and plexiglas shields are going to be with us for a long time.

Knightly believes that with so many white-collar professions working remotely, employers are likely to ask hard questions about whether they need as much office space, and whether business travel is necessary.

Last month, Barclays (BCS) CEO Jes Staley told reporters that “the notion of putting 7,000 people in a building may be a thing of the past.”

Cool, less drivers on the road. Those 9-5ers like to tailgate.

Urban sprawl coming to that nice neighborhood you live in soon. It’s the subplot from the article that is well worth the reading. We’re going to see the cities start to get crazy. As landlords start to foreclose and people start moving out those left behind will be in bad shape. Can’t afford to stay...can’t afford to leave.

But...the bigger thing is if you are not tech savvy you are going to get left behind. It’s going to be a bourgeois world for a while. Winging off to Las Vegas isn’t going to be happening for the old average joe. The spacing out of entertainment centers means they will need to double/triple their pricing to make a profit. Major entertainment for families...like a Disney vacay...nope. It will be out of reach for a majority of people. Go enjoy it without the crowds. They will only book you into the best hotels on the property. Older versions will be closed and torn down quickly. Right now there’s a push to keep restaurants up and operating. Many are not going to make it under the health department’s social distancing clauses. Price of a meal will have to go up ...not down in order to make a profit. Only the bourgeois will be able to afford it. Gone will be the days of eating out 5 times a week.

Liberals always talked about the ‘wealth gap,’ well they are about to see what a real ‘wealth gap,’ looks like. It is about to get incredibly obvious.

Best place to be right about now is small town, middle of the country, deplorable USA. Staying local, buying local, farming it out and maybe a remote job, enterprise, or a darn good book. Small towns generating their own micro-economies.

Just finished writing my own and grateful to get paid on it last week. Moving to set up online classes based off it and at least getting the tech end up and running. Editor isn’t releasing the book until August, but at least I’ve already been paid on it.

American life is moving into an interesting place. Will it bring about a return to the central family, slower pace and self-sufficiency? It will be a rocky road to get there.

Soon, every retailer will be forced by their insurance company to require masks and 6ft distancing by the customers in their stores, and it will be permanent.

It’s the same reason why so many retailers always post “No Guns” signs everywhere: The insurance companies demand it.

The only way to prevent Masks Everywhere Forever is for Congress to pass a COVID relief bill that includes an amendment for liability immunity from lawsuits by customers.

I’ll give it 6 months tops, then people will forget all about the Chinese flu once the bans are lifted. Do you really think baseball stadiums and arenas will be 1/3 empty? Restaurants can’t survive on 1/2 empty seating. The profit margins are too small. Disney and Vegas will go bankrupt. The government is addicted to taxes. Having a country with half the population unemployed means they will be coming for the employed’s money.

There will be two types of people in this dystopian scenario. The welfare and the heavily taxed. And eventually the economy will just move underground like it did in Greece. Maybe I’m wrong but I just don’t see any of that happening. I also don’t know anyone in my age group or younger worried about the Chinese flu. People just want their lives back.

Remember after 911 the mantra across our country, “We will never forget.”?

That refrain died quickly. The same will hold true with this Covid thingy.

My prediction: Social interaction will return to pre-Covid normal by Christmas.

*** Currently, states and cities are crafting a pell-mell retreat away from lockdowns designed to contain the COVID-19 crisis but that have decimated growth and the jobs market. ***

In Pennsylvania, Governor Wolf did not ‘get that memo’.

From cashless transactions, to smaller office footprints with fewer on-site workers

Cashless, with Gate's ID2020 controlling you via surveillance and block chain transactions.

We are in the Last Days. People need to release their grip on this world, and get right with the Lord.

Our manufacturing is essential. We were shut down by the Pennsylvania State Police until our lawyers got the waiver.

After 2 weeks of furlough, we have resumed production....but output is 50% of what is was due to the “requirements”.

I can tell you that if demand rises, we will ignore the “requirements” and ramp up production.

The only obstacle are liberal employees who will accuse the company of putting profits ahead of safety.

You can see such stories around the nation already. Companies re-opening and the liberal workers complaining.

I know some of you will say, just fire the liberals. Well, you cannot do that and expect no lawsuit. That is exactly what the socialists want.

The UAW did this to GM, Ford and Fiat-Chrysler, who wanted to resume production next week, but the UAW leadership (in the pocket of Democrats) refused.

Interesting comments considering it’s Yahoo.

People have had it with this situation.

We must reject the use of the term “new normal”. We need to come up with something different to describe what will we will be experiencing for the next few months.

When I was working at Intel, only L1 managers and above got work from home permissions.
It took an act of God to get anyone else approved.

At one point in my project, I had a critical test which HAD to complete successfully and it took 12hrs to complete.
All I needed was to log in and check on it.

Instead, Intel demanded I drive to work at midnite, go to my office and check if it had completed.
I did that for almost 2 months.

“New Normal” = you proles don’t get to travel, you wear masks everywhere, and you have to show your papers when crossing state lines. Tyranny, in other words.
