This is not how we already knew it must be turning out. Garcia must be the CHICOM candidate. Collusion! This is real voter fraud! Peach!
I fear you may be correct. According to the California election result site for this election, there is an "official canvas period" that goes until June 12, 2020 during which provisional and mail-in votes can be counted.
If you go to the page and click on the Unprocessed Ballot Reports link it says the following:
It typically takes weeks for counties to process and count all of the ballots. Elections officials have approximately one month to complete their extensive tallying, auditing, and certification work (known as the official canvass). Most notably, voting by mail has increased opens new window significantly in recent years and many vote-by-mail ballots arrive on, or up to three days after, Election Day (vote-by-mail ballots postmarked on or before Election Day and received by the county elections official no later than three days after the election are included in the official canvass). In processing vote-by-mail ballots, elections officials must confirm each voter's registration status, verify each voter's signature on the vote-by-mail envelope, and ensure each person did not vote elsewhere in the same election before the ballot can be counted.
Other ballots that are processed after Election Day include provisional ballots opens new window (processed similar to vote-by-mail ballots), conditional voter registration opens new window provisional ballots, and ballots that are damaged or cannot be machine-read and must be remade by elections officials.
That leaves plenty of time to scrape together enough ballots to swing this to the dem candidate. Hopefully the Republicans in CA have a plan to combat this in order to preserve the victory. Otherwise; this will simply be a preview of November 3 2020.

Probably true if the (R) had won 52% to 48%. But this margin is so big, it would probably be wise just to let this one slide so they can play the “discovered ballots” game in November.

You know this will happen, BUT, since this is the only election today, maybe the demonRATs will pull back on the cheating because they don't want to tip their hand for November.
They've already tipped their hand countless times and have no fear of retribution. The dems laugh openly at charges of voter fraud.

I hope you’re doing some good self care. I’m very fortunate to have escaped SoCal in 2015 for Tennessee. Our governor laid down the guidelines, but refused to do any meaningful enforcement.
An truly despicable part of the dems destructive plot is the separation of Americans from church. This is just evil; so many people rely on their churches and church groups as their sources of support and solace. Faith is the most powerful force in the lives of many. Worshippers go to church to be uplifted, to share, and for the fellowship. Separating people from their churches is unconscionable as well as unconstitutional.
The church leaders have gone to extremes to follow absurd safety guidelines. Yet, there are blue state tyrants who think they can shut down religion for *the rest of the year*. Tell me how this is not communism.
I can’t even find the words to express how angry I am about this. This, and the complete ruin of many family businesses. How many multigenerational small businesses are lost forever? It makes me sick.
If you study abuse, as I have, you will find that isolating the victim from their support system is a standard part of the abuser’s strategy.
How are the dems any different? People are cut off from their churches, their families, their friends, their hobbies, and their coworkers. I can’t help but notice a certain similarity here.
The Cali SOS site says this was a primary. I thought this was the special election to replace Katie Hill.
What the Dems have done is destroy civil society and cut off people from any contact with anything beyond the State.
The truly tragic thing is that way too many of the churches have willingly gone along with it. It is the church that should be protecting that sacred space, the life and conscience of every individual, which belongs to God alone and not to the State. Instead almost all of them have cheerfully handed over everything to Caesar and slammed the doors of the Temple.

This overwhelming election result blows away all the hyper-ventilating left-wing “polls” supposedly showing public anger at Trump failing in response to the Chinese plague.
Let me know who won after the democrats have harvested all the ballots. 50/50 chance this holds.
