Report: NY Women Seeking Guns out of Fear of Coronavirus Crime Wave

A New York Post report claims women in New York are seeking guns in anticipation of what they fear is a coming coronavirus crime wave.

According to the Post, 35-year-old Nicole Rosario is a stay-at-home Staten Island mom who wants a gun.

Rosario said, “It’s my constitutional right. But that doesn’t seem to matter. I live in New York which means it’s impossible. That’s crazy and unfair.”

Rosario’s 32-year-old sister, Christine, feels the same. She is actually “going to ask her boyfriend to move in with her because he already has a gun.”

Cassie Kramer, a 46-year-old in the fashion industry, commented: “I’ve been living in the East Village and other occasionally tough neighborhoods for a long time. But for the first time, I’m going outside and I get a bad tingling feeling. The streets are empty and it doesn’t feel right. I know there aren’t a lot of cops out and it’s just a reality that people could get very desperate.”

New York is one of a handful of states where gun stores are closed; classified as non-essential via Governor Cuomo’s (D) shutdown order. And if a New Yorker thinks they can at least begin the process of taking ownership of a gun by applying for a license to have a weapon in the city, that option is gone too, as “the NYPD has closed its licensing office.”

Something to point out to your non-gun-owning friends and relatives: if you wait until you need it, you won't be able to get one. The right time to buy a gun is "At whatever point you can".

And when you get one, also get at least a thousand rounds of ammo. Preferably more.

They don’t need guns. The government will take care of them.

Now that DeBlasio and Cuomo released criminals onto the streets, suddenly NY women are getting religion about guns. How funny.

It’s new york, a democrat-run state. Well, girls, go for it! Arm yourselves! There is more crime. Cops are arresting mothers out for a stroll with their kids. Cops are not catching criminals, but measuring the distance between people warning them to wear masks.

How quickly they sent drones up to monitor people and yell at them for straying too close.

“I want to see all of the people who have flamed me for saying this for a long time face-to-face. I really do.”

Everyone of my clients say they are only going to bring back bare bones staff, all future expansions are shelved and only buy things out of absolute necessity. They are looking at a new flare up in fall.

We are having a new concrete driveway put in. The guy doing the work said it’s like spiget has been shut off. He went from 3 months behind to no work.

I’m telling you folks it’s going to get bad. Will take 4-5 year to recover.

Hey ladies, Just call the police that’s what they are there for.
After all, they are the only people who need guns, right?

My neighbor owns an upscale landscaping company, no-one in his company has missed a minute of work during this whole affair. He says he’s seen zero change in the business.

History of declines/recoveries indicate longer time required BUT this one is different in that WORLD economies stopped on a dime and then had the added bonus of intentional destruction by power-mad governors, mayors, dictator wanna-bees.

“owns an upscale”

That right there says it all. His clients are probably either retired seniors or business owners or others who have not been as affected. Average Joes usually do not hire a landscaping service. They take their pickup to Lowes and load it up with mulch on a Saturday morning.
