Jon, Josh and Billy did another “Orange Man Bad” group project?

I love how white parents in the late 80's thru the 90's named their kids these self important "precious" names like Caleb, Josh and Dylan. The white equivalent of "LaTaonda" and "Demecreus". Like naming their kids something fancy means they are so special.

"Mom can we go to Grandpa Josh and Grandma Courtney's house??" So how retarded that sounds? My kids we names normal family names.

The AP hopes.

Of course everybody knows the global pandemic which began in Wuhan China and which spread due to the lies and attempts to cover up by the Chicoms, was hardly Trump’s fault.

back-up for calling Ferguson and Lipsitch “from the left”:

9 May: UK Sun: SECOND LOVER Husband of lockdown-breaking Professor Ferguson’s lover Antonia Staats ‘has his own mistress’
by Nick Parker
It was not known whether 38-year-old Mr Lucas, an Arabic studies lecturer - who recently showed coronavirus symptoms - had left his home during lockdown to visit his mistress at another address...

PIC CAPTION: Professor Ferguson and Ms Staats are said to have met on dating site OkCupid, which has become popular with left-leaning couples who share liberal views...
Prof Ferguson, 51, would have been asked whether he reckoned Brexit was either “terrible for the UK” or “great for the UK”.
He would also have been quizzed on whether he considered his political beliefs to be either, “liberal/left, centrist, or conservative/right”.
The algorithm matched him with blonde Ms Staats, a south London-based left-wing campaigner with a masters in Asian politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies...

Ms Staats - who lives in a £1.9million home in Clapham, South West London - is also a climate change activist who joined anti-press protests outside Parliament in 2017...
The Sun on Sunday source added: “The fact that Professor Ferguson was matched with a left-wing activist makes his political leanings pretty clear.

Lipsitch keeps blaming DC; can’t recall one TV show, but remembers Rachel Maddow’s!

AUDIO: 53m37s: 20 Mar 2020: Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health: Coronavirus (COVID-19): Press Conference with Marc Lipsitch
TRANSCRIPT
(excerpts)
LIPSITCH: But to me, it seems that the perhaps most pressing issue as we’ve all been hearing about is that even at the very outset of this epidemic personal protective equipment is running low in hospitals around the country. Health care workers are having to reuse it or not even have it. And calls are going out to seamstresses around the country to make the cloth masks.
This is not an adequate national response...

The second is scaling up onto a really wartime footing the production of PPE, ventilators, and other items. There’s been some talk from Washington about doing that, but it doesn’t actually seem to be happening on a real-time basis...

I would also add that, at least based on what I saw on television last night, the networked thermometer company whose name is escaping me right now also shows that Florida is a big hotspot of atypically high fever activity at the moment. And maybe you could chase that down, because I don’t remember even the name of the company. And that was widespread in Florida based on the map that was shown on Rachel Maddow last night...

MARC LIPSITCH: Yeah. I think from a disease control perspective that’s absolutely right. And I’m not sure if I’d share that description of Neil Ferguson’s evolution of position. But I’ll leave that aside.
But I think from a disease control perspective a near complete lockdown is appropriate at least until we have time to assess the situation and build up our capacity to test and to take care of patients with PPE and that sort of thing...

Q: Yeah. I guess the follow up to that, Marc, is, do you still feel your overall prediction about a pretty good swath of America getting infected by this over the next 12 to 18 months– you said 40% to 70%. Do you still sense it’ll be in line with that?

MARC LIPSITCH: Yeah, I have reduced that from 40% to 70% down to 20% to 60% about two weeks ago. But doesn’t seem to have stuck as much as the first. And that’s obviously a very wide range...
I’ve gotten a lot of questions about that. My current thinking is as follows. Clearly, China has shown that you can, in the short term, even in a place as critical as Wuhan, bring cases down to nearly zero, detected cases to zero, with several weeks– about two months, I guess, from January 23 to the present– almost two months of lockdowns. If somehow that could be maintained, then over a long period, like over 12 to 18 months, then those numbers would not come to pass. Because the disease would stay under control, very likely.
The problem is that I don’t understand how anybody, but especially a democratic society, is going to maintain that level of control for that period of time. So, the alternative is to have cycles of cracking down and letting up. And that would slowly accumulate. Cases would accumulate immunity in the population and would approach those kinds of levels.
If there’s some other solution, like if a vaccine magically appeared, which I don’t think is going to happen in the next year, that would change the game...

Dems are desperate to keep voters locked down, preventing any Trump rallies. Bet on it.

Yes AP, right on cue.

Virus? What virus? This unemployment is the story. It just magically appeared and is Trump’s fault.

And spelled most of their words correctly? Good job, kids! Give them Gold Self-Esteem Stars and hot cocoa!

Laying the blame rightly or wrongly on blue state governments will do nothing to win states that are swing. focusing on the positive and what he is going to do going forward matters. The only people that are obsessed about the blue states are the people on this board and a few other conservatives.

Not to mention a number of states that he needs to win have Democratic governors. The shortsightedness on this board sometimes amazes me.

I should know I’m incredibly short-sighted a lot of times. But this one is easy to say. No one wants to vote for someone who cast the blame especially when the buck stops at his desk for better or worse

he has the better plan for the future he should just lay it out and he will win easily

Trump created prosperity while the downturn has more to do with Democrat governors who are drunk with power and enamored with issuing totalitarian mandates.

“Trump is not running for reelection against Biden. He’s running against 20% unemployment”

Except most of those workers are furloughed and will be back to work as businesses start to open back up.

We'll see. How many worked for small businesses that won't survive this? Or large retailers who go into bankruptcy at worst or reduced staffing at best? Or airlines and hotels that will see their business recover slowly? This is going to go well past the November election and Trump will need to fight it accordingly.

And keep your head buried in...the sand. Because if you don't think Trump is running against everything I said he was then you are truly delusional.

This horrid economy would sink Trump’s re-election - if it was the result of his economic policies, but it’s not. And the whole country knows this. We’ve seen how the country prospered prior to the WuFlu and I think people financially hurt by it will be looking to Trump to get it turned around.

The President will only succeed if he can continue to build on Barry’s successful economy. /s

Notso much fake news as wish news... the historic unemployment is 100% due to an outside event... pandemic. A panicdemic actually. Disaster predictions that have failed to materialize. Trump is in good shape to point out the differences in “Blue” state governors and “Red” state governors, as to who is best to repair the economic damage done by the Covid-19 response. Most Democrat officials have tested positive for WannabeTyranny-20, and their citizens are near revolt!

The Left and their media “Lewinskys” seem unable to grasp any reality outside their shallow hate filled narratives.

Before anyone would place the blame for our present economic situation(and it looks pretty bad)on President Trump’s shoulders, they need to think to think about the alternative come the election & also what the alternative could have been had the last election turned out differently. While you are contemplating that, also consider what would or could have have happened even if not for Covid-19 under a different administration. It could be a whole lot worse than it is now.

Too bad the First Amendment makes it so hard to cure our main problem.

Not that I am against the freedom of press...but that there should be a way to prosecute the press under the RICO act and still honor the First Amendment.

How come it now takes two, three, or four people to write one article? At any rate, are the authors suggesting that the current situation is the result of Trump mismanaging the economy? Are they suggesting that a worldwide epidemic originating in China was somehow his fault?
