In a Fox News interview Friday, President Trump was noncommittal on whether FBI Director Christopher Wray would remain in the job following the Justice Departments decision to drop its case against Michael Flynn.
Lets see what happens with him, the president told Fox & Friends, adding that the jurys still out on Wrays future in the bureau.
Trump said he would leave the decision up to Attorney General William Barr, head of the Justice Department, which oversees the FBI.
You know, I told Bill Barr, you handle it, the president said. I would be absolutely entitled in theory, as the chief law enforcement officer, in theory. But I said, You know what, I want Bill Barr to handle it, adding that the attorney general has done an unbelievable job.
Need to 'step up'
One day earlier, Barr appeared to defend Wray during an interview with CBS News, although he claimed that both he and Wray needed to step up following the Flynn case.
You know, he's been a great partner to me in our effort to restore the American people's confidence in both the Department of Justice and the FBI, Barr said Thursday, according to the Washington Examiner. And we work very well together. And I think both of us know that we have to step up. That it's very important to restore the American people's confidence.

Mr. Wray is knee deep in the swamp and seems to take orders from Comey.
Sounds pretty extreme.
"In 1963, we started the "Support Your Local Police and Keep Them Independent" project partly based on a plot against police as uncovered by the Senate Internal Security Subcommittee in 1961. We urged members to create ad hoc SYLP committees to pull together members and supportive non-members to protect local police and the communities they serve. That plot included using crowd manipulation, spontaneous riot creation, and false police brutality campaigns."
“The FBI ought to be totally disbanded, period!!”
Agents’ sworn testimony going forward won’t be worth a damn...it has been rendered garbage by the Obama gang.
Is this like The Swamp wagging the Swamp Dog’s tail?
Discredit, and eventually dismantle, the FBI.Ironic that a deep state has nearly achieved that very goal, by infiltration.
Communist goal #35
General Barr, we dont trust Wray, as long as he is there we will not have faith in the FBI. He is weak. He hasnt done a darn thing to clean up the agency. As a result of his lack of action those of us who want to believe in the integrity of the rank and file have lost faith.
Disbanded, the building razed, and the earth salted.
The FBI didnt exist until 1908. The Department of Justice didnt even exist until 1870. This country was fine without them. At least 95% of the things the FBI investigates shouldnt even be Federal crimes.
GENERAL FLYNN
FOR FBI DIRECTOR
copied: Federal law gives the FBI authority to investigate all federal crime not assigned exclusively to another federal agency (28, Section 533 of the U.S. Code). Title 28, U.S. Code, Section 533, authorizes the attorney general to appoint officials to detect and prosecute crimes against the United States. Title 18, U.S. Code, Section 3052, specifically authorizes special agents and officials of the FBI to make arrests, carry firearms, and serve warrants. Title 18, U.S. Code, Section 3107, empowers special agents and officials to make seizures under warrant for violation of federal statutes. The FBIs authority to investigate specific criminal violations is conferred by numerous other congressional statutessuch as the Congressional Assassination, Kidnapping, and Assault Act (Title 18, U.S. Code, Section 351). The FBI has special investigative jurisdiction to investigate violations of state law in limited circumstances, specifically felony killings of state law enforcement officers (28 U.S.C. § 540), violent crimes against interstate travelers (28 U.S.C. § 540A0), and serial killers (28 U.S.C. §540B). A request by an appropriate state official is required before the FBI has authority to investigate these matters. In addition, Title 28, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 0.85, outlines the investigative and other responsibilities of the FBI, including the collection of fingerprint cards and identification records; the training of state and local law enforcement officials at the FBI National Academy; and the operation of the National Crime Information Center and the FBI Laboratory.
Wray was head of the FBI while they were still signing off on FISA warrants against the President, basing those warrants on the Steele dossier, which Steele had already disavowed to the FBI. To think that he wasnt aware of the FISA warrants being renewed would be absurd.
OK. And?
IF the FBI were SO GOOD, then WTF wasn't there a WHISTLEBLOWER?? NOT ONE AGENT CAME FORWARD!!
What the president actually said was that Wray’s future is in Bill Barr’s hands.
“....wasn’t there a WHISTLEBLOWER...”
There was the FBI, DOJ, intelligence agencies and the Obama WH in this conspiracy. The FBI guys are the face we now see, but there are even bigger names involved. This was a very tight group planning a treasonous act - the overthrow of the US government. By necessity it was a secret society. At the FBI, those involved were all in the headquarters unit. Even if anyone in the field offices, where the FBI agents work and where almost 100% of the work occurs, if anyone had an inkling they probably dismissed it as the rumor mill. Every organization has rumors running throughout. No one is going to be a whistle blower without hard evidence. Especially a law enforcement person who is sorting out facts from fiction all the time.
As you, I wondered “why” and talked with some old timers from LE. Working through it in my mind, and also having a strong LE background from years ago; this is my reason “why.”
DECIMATE the FBI in the "organizational shredder". From the chaff build a real law enforcement organization that respects citizens, has the mission to protect the constitution, and to protect the citizens from government excesses. (I believe Sweden has such a governmental office)
What, exactly, has Barr done??
Very little of apparent consequence. That is, Bagpipe Bill's defense of Chrissie Wray, the odious little ever so precious pimp presiding over 2+ years of obstruction of justice at the FBI, has a lasting stench. Of Wray, Barr said thus:
You know, he's been a great partner to me in our effort to restore the American people's confidence in both the Department of Justice and the FBI, Barr said Thursday, according to the Washington Examiner. And we work very well together. And I think both of us know that we have to step up. That it's very important to restore the American people's confidence.
To so describe the actions of a dues paid pimp, after all the pimp's malodorous conduct has thwarted justice, is more gutless than any of Linda Graham's endless empty promises to punish all of the coup conspirators, seditionists, traitors, etc. So, the perjurer McCabe walks and now it appears that the open and notorious pimp Wray gets a clean anal exam from Barr. The big gorilla in the room is, who has been advising the President on ALL of his appointments since day one? By what rational process, pray tell?
