Joe Biden sex-assault accuser Tara Reade said she used to be a die-hard Barack Obama supporter but she has left the Democratic Party after the blowback to her claims against the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.
Reade, who has accused Biden of sexually assaulting her in his Senate office in 1993, said she voted for Obama for president in 2008 and 2012 but now feels she has no party to turn to.
Im leaving the Democratic Party and I wont be part of any, Reade said during an interview with Megyn Kelly published in its entirety Friday.
I wont be a Republican; its just not my political belief system, she went on. Ive been pretty much progressive all my life I feel politically homeless.
Biden and his campaign have strenuously denied the alleged assault took place. Reade insists she was thrown against a wall and sexually violated by Biden when she worked as one of his staff assistants.
When asked by Kelly of a double-standard among Democrats, Reade said she has been upset and angry watching people like Elizabeth Warren continue to support Biden.
I dont really care deep down if they believe me or not but I want other survivors to know that they can come forward, Reade continued.
And when they see this sort of onslaught, this sort of partisanship, its very discouraging.
So we can come forward unless its a Democrat? Is that the message that theyre sending? she said.

Thanks for the correction and refreshing my memory, that’s even better.
I remember now, good move on the part of Trump.
Cognitive dissonance sets in
Exactly my thought as well. If having a belief system is important and you see you have been totally taken and raped by a belief system you adopted, it isn’t too bright to say no belief systems are worthwhile.
Granted, the Republicans aren’t my belief system, I seem them only a vehicle that is more likely to advance my conservative belief system than the other one.
I have to say, that exchange made me smile just a bit..:)
LOL.
Help me out here?
Is that a dude over on the far right of the picture?
If it is .. that’s scary.
If it isn’t .. that’s scary.
Solzhenitsyn chonicled true believers who, no matter what happened, all believed that party was doing it for "the greater good", even if they did not know the reason.
Government, or more accurately, party, is god to these people.
She probably supports single payer health care etc. Fuggedaboutit.
