U.S. Senator Rand Paul Thursday accused Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear of being “drunk with power” and said the state is living under the “dictatorship of Beshear” while making an argument to reopen the economy in an interview with a Louisville television station.

“So we have a relatively weak governor under normal circumstances, but right now we’re living under the dictatorship of Beshear, and we’ve got to get out from under him,” Paul told Lawrence Smith of WDRB. “He’s killing the economy. We have to get started again, and if we’re doing it according to his rules, there are going to be people who aren’t open for another month. And they’ll have to be obeying rules that may or may not work.”

It's becoming more and more clear that this whole charade is "Coup, Part III".

They didn't get what they wanted with RussiaGate. They didn't get what they wanted with impeachment. Now, the country must suffer.

You forgot New Hampshire . My Governor Chris Sununu let it spread in the nursing homes and kept the infected there without hospitalization. In one more week we can serve people at my restaurant outside. Very few deaths but this clown is using the nursing home deaths like Charlie baker and cuomo.

My antipathy for Baby Faced Andy and his equally corrupt sire is rapidly becoming boundless.

The teachers and state employees love Beshear, especially the teachers that put him in office. Nothing like getting full pay for sitting at home and attempting to half-a$$ed distance learning. My wife is in a Facebook group that has a lot of teachers and they openly admit that they aren’t doing squat while off work.

This is an awful strategy by dimocrats and it will blow up in their faces in a big way. Red states will be open and thriving and not faring any worse than blue states, and blue state residents will know that it is their state government that causing their misery. There will be protests and lawsuits and mass fleeing from those states and the contrast will not be starker.

I can't see what the people are crying about. They had a choice between this man and the old Governor. They could not wait to get the old Governor out and put this guy in.

If the good people think that they are going to vote the sons of bitches out come next election, they can forget that. The Democrat Party is not going to allow for that. As the elections of 2018 and forward shown, the Democrats learned from their mistakes. And unless the Republicans come up with a plan to either counteract or neutralize the Democrats vote stealing [which is very doubtful] when the official results of the 2029 votes are in, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. And a Democrat occupying the White House along with control of the Senate. Believe it or not. Wait and see.
