...The cuts include a $300 million reduction in K-12 public-school funding, $210 million from Medicaid spending and $110 million from college and university funding, DeWine said.
DeWine said all state government agencies will see their budgets cut, adding up to $100 million, except for the state Department of Corrections, which operates state prisons.

All of this corona-money should have been offset by budget cuts to social programs.
Kinda hard to keep all the parasites on the government dole when you run out of other peoples money.

maybe the best thing that’ll come about this in Ohio is that funding is cut for OSU and it knocks down the buckeye football team a few pegs.
Not to mention after school sports programs. The typical responses.

There is no state funding of Medicare.
The state funding goes to Medicaid (health care for the poor) with partial matches by the Feds.
The Bucks fund almost all of the other sports especially the women’s sports. So know the Bucks won’t get less. They’ll probably get more for improved facilities for a Corona whatever.
Its a stalking horse for a tax increase
