The Origin of Human Consciousness Stymies Darwinists

The Origin of Human Consciousness Stymies Darwinists Recent Research Confirms the Gap is Real

by Jerry Bergman, PhD

One of the most significant gaps, actually a chasm, between modern humans and their putative common ancestor is mind, often generally called human consciousness. The research reviewed here reveals an unbridgeable chasm exists between animal and human minds. Some animals have certain senses that are superior to humans, such as eyesight, but no animal can work algebra or trigonometry problems, write poetry, monographs, or even a short thoughtful letter to a friend. Nor can any animal calculate a Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient (PPMCC), let alone understand the meaning of statistical results.

And that is proof of the existence of God. Adam was the first man who said “I am.” It was the divine spirit, breathed into him by God himself.

Suffice it to say that the brain is 90% phospholipid. Just how those lipids churn around up there to make higher intellectual functions such as speech, sight, memory, creativity etc possible is unknown. Understanding and defining it is the great scientific challenge of the new millennium. Right now almost nothing is known. Yet almost all scientists believe human consciousness has a biochemical basis.

This is the one issue that evolutionists won’t touch with a ten foot pole. It’s outside science’s swimlane. Actually, so is the initial creation of life in the first place. Even now, we can create life from life, but we can not create life from non-living entities. There isn’t even a reasonable hypothesis put forward, much less an actual theory.

Evolution science only touches what happened to life after it was created. And nobody would even accept the existence of human consciousness unless they actually experienced it themself every waking moment.

At some point the ape became self-aware. Then someone put Adam and Eve into the garden too. Then came thinking and it all went downhill from there.....

Consciousness can’t be explained via evolution.....nor a conscience.

Yet almost all scientists believe human consciousness has a biochemical basis.

Except those who believe mankind has a soul in every body.

‘This is the one issue that evolutionists won’t touch with a ten foot pole.’

but it doesn’t faze the theists at all; some unseen, unknowable entity not occupying time or space and not needing to be created itself snapped its fingers and voila, here we are...

All of which is subject to random mutation. Mutations that resulted in greater intelligence and reasoning power would have been instantly selected for and those individuals would have reproduced at a higher rate. We didn’t go from sharp stick to trigonometry in one giant step, we went from sharp stick to stick with a sharply pointed stone tip fastened to it that made hunting more productive.

It will never be known. B/c only God can create consciousness and everything else. I have zero respect for the beliefs of atheists.

A tough read. And I did not agree with his conclusions, probably because I’m religious...

Only an “intellectual” could believe that random atomic action could evolve into a brain that fires 10 million billion synapses per second.

Good post. Add to it the odds AGINST you being you. Your mother, if average could produce a half million eggs. Your father, if average would produce about a half billion sperm. If any different sperm had met any different egg, you wouldn’t be you, you would be a brother or sister of you. Multiplying together, the odds against you being you are 1 in 250,000,000,000,000. You could win a million PowerBall lotteries before you could be you.

Now, go back just one generation to your father and mother. the odds against either of those being born are the same. Multiplying those odds all together, the odds against your mother being your mother, and your father being your father, and you being you are a bit over 1 with 44 zeros after it. That’s infinitesimally small. in just one generation. Go back thousands of generations, and it is too many zeros to even print.

God’s creation is the only explanation for your ‘human consciousness’.

I'm one hundred percent on board with that, although I have no difficulty with the idea of physical evolution. You could conceivably create an android that responds to its environment just as a human does, but it would remain without consciousness of its existence.

As ancient astronaut theorists don't believe.
