WASHINGTON — Joe Biden, the apparent Democratic nominee for president, denied on Friday a former staffer's claim of sexual assault, and called for the National Archives to release any potential records related to the allegation.
"It is not true, I am saying unequivocally it never never happened and it didn't," Biden said in an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." "It never happened."
In a written statement issued just before the interview, Biden called the allegations “complicated,” and said women “deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.”
"Responsible news organizations should examine and evaluate the full and growing record of inconsistencies in her story, which has changed repeatedly in both small and big ways,” Biden continued.
“She does not have a record of this alleged complaint,” Biden noted in his written statement. Addressing calls from some to release any records that his personal Senate papers, now being archived at the University of Delaware, Biden said those papers "do not contain personnel files.”
"There is only one place a complaint of this kind could be — the National Archives. The National Archives is where the records are kept at what was then called the Office of Fair Employment Practices. I am requesting that the Secretary of the Senate ask the Archives to identify any record of the complaint she alleges she filed and make available to the press any such document. If there was ever any such complaint, the record will be there."
Pressed in the MSNBC interview about whether he would grant access to his papers at the University of Delaware to provide full transparency, Biden insisted that there would be no relevant personnel documents there.

This headline is a lie. Biden specifically said he would NOT release his Senate records.
There are 7 other women plus dozens of photos and video of Biden groping and molesting women and children.

What records would there be for something that didn’t happen?
There is existing contemporaneous statements by people at the time it happened. This kind of ‘hearsay’ IS admissible in court.

I was also surprised that Biden was coherent the entire time and held together. I wonder what makes him capable of answering questions like this for at least five minutes when sometimes he cannot seem to say one sentence that makes any sense.

Oh things may get released, in dribs and drabs, but my guess is that the cleaners have already purged Biden’s records. There needs to be a subpoena of the records, the log of access to the records, and information on everyone with the authority to access the records without entering it into a log. Then we need to know, under oath, everyone who accessed Biden’s records in the last 6 months.
In many cases, standing right beside him.

The headline is misleading, but in the world of the propaganda press, it is not a lie because the headline is the beginning of the sentence in the article that says in ..... the national archives. The early part of the article just ignores reference to the papers at the University of Delaware.
Which by now he thinks have disappeared down the memory hole.
