An internal poll conducted for the Georgia House GOP Caucus points to troubling signs for Republican leaders: President Donald Trump is deadlocked with Joe Biden and voters aren’t giving the White House, Gov. Brian Kemp or the Legislature high marks for the coronavirus response.
The poll also suggests trouble for U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler, showing the former financial executive with 11% of the vote and essentially tied with Democrats Matt Lieberman and Raphael Warnock. U.S. Rep. Doug Collins leads the November field with 29% of the vote, and outdoes Loeffler among Republicans by a 62-18 margin.

Loeffler is deeper underwater after grappling with an uproar over her stock transactions during the pandemic, with an approval of 20% and disapproval of 47%. 58% like staying home on their enhanced unemployment benefits, which they will lose once their old employers re-open and call them back to work.
Not taking sides on the veracity of this poll, but it is interesting that there is seldom ever a poll that shows the GOP doing well anywhere or on any topic. The democrats are always on the right side of every poll. I honestly believe that if you just shifted the letters behind their names Trump would lead Biden in every state in the union.
That’s what I was getting ready to say. And the Fox “News” polls are the absolute worst. According to Fox, no Republican has a chance of winning anything anywhere at any time. IMHO, these “polls” are published to give the Dem foot soldiers encouragement to press forward with their attacks 60/60/24/7/365. When you feel you’re winning, you’re far more motivated.

Georgia is 10% Hispanic now. I saw a state of Georgia Covid freeway sign in Spanish in the Savannah area this week. The days of GA being a solid GOP state are over.
