Was Killing the American Economy Absolutely Necessary?

Like it or not, this is a question that will continue to be asked, and the terrible answer has already begun to take a convincing shape.

Recently, Fox News analyst Brit Hume told Shannon Bream that “it’s time to consider the possibility” that “this lockdown -- as opposed to more moderate mitigation efforts -- is a colossal public policy calamity.” He goes on to reference the millions of jobs, businesses, and incomes lost, and further mentions the negative “effect on children who don’t have a normal life,” concluding that “we may never recover from many of these losses for a very long time if ever.”

He’s far from the first to muse on the question. Back on March 20, Dr. David Katz, the founding director of the Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center, argued in the New York Times that our fight against the novel coronavirus could prove worse than the disease. Armed with what was then the latest data available from South Korea, he brilliantly argues against the holistic social and economic lockdown on the grounds that the evidence clearly showed that only specific demographics were significantly at-risk of being hospitalized or dying from infection. The evidence we’d already seen in America had “entirely aligned with the data from other countries,” he writes, which suggested that deaths were “mainly clustered among the elderly, those with significant chronic illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease, and those in both groups.”

It was necessary to give the Rat nominee for president even a remote chance.

The cure is worse than the disease.. intentional by design.

Democrats and the media are using Coronavirus as an Impeachment again .

Democrats, like Bill Maher, told us how much they crave an economic collapse as a way to get rid of Trump… like the fake Russia - Mueller witch hunt..

The government did not kill the economy, the virus did. The markets plunged to their lows many businesses closed, sporting and entertainment events were canceled prior to the the shelter-in-place.

At the time only knowing three things:

1) That it is an escaped bio-weapon.
2) It has already killed thousands world wide.
3) We know nothing else about it.

Then the closure of the country, at the time, was absolutely the correct move. Only after the passage of time have we learned how it works and what it does. The way it attacks your body (by altering your blood cells) has only recently been discovered. Now it is the correct time to re-open, allowing the immune system folks to remain in a self imposed isolation until this thing totally passes. The highly susceptable should not have to pay a penalty for doing this.

Now for the really cool part. This has exposed the power hungry people in positions of power (communist democrats mostly) for who and what they are. And the faster the media spins that they are loved, the more we know the people have had enough.

Most every state has a recall mechanism in place. From the governors right down the local sheriff that followed the orders, we need to recall them. When we come out on the other side, this should be done first thing.

Fire them all, the short, the tall, the big and the small.
Fire them all.

“The government did not kill the economy, the virus did. “

Exactly backwards.

The RATs were clamoring for a recession to take out Trump for at least a year before this happened. This is all caused by government policies. most of it democrat and MSM driven panic. It is just like the 2008 housing crash. Then, I could see all the crazy things leading up to the housing crash, but it was not until afterward that I saw that it was all intentional.

What is defined as elderly?

65?

60?

55?

If it’s 60

What does a 60 year (or over) person do for health insurance if they:

can’t work from home

are isolated due to the age limit of 60?

If the left cannot control America, they will leave you ashes.

I have come to accept this as the great truth of 2020. They saw November coming, they saw their doom, they decided, along with the chicoms, to burn it all down.

I’m better off than many, but I can clearly see, as most of you, what they have done here.

None of this was necessary, most of it was pure hate.

And too many good people were mislead by the lies of the left.

No. It was not.

Our V-shaped recovery will be more U-shaped the longer we wait. Too long and it’ll be L-shaped.

Michigan Gov. Whitmer is fighting the virus by sinking her teeth into the necks of her subjects.

They saw November coming, they saw their doom, they decided, along with the chicoms, to burn it all down.

Wouldn't it have been easier to say, come up with a reasonable candidate for President? One who, despite policy differences, had the best interests of Americans in mind? One who could utter a coherent sentence? One who hasn't been in Politics their entire life without some meaningful piece of legislation that people could point toward and say, "yes, this candidate has great ideas."

The Dems have no one like that, so yes, I guess their only choice would be to burn it down.

If we had not closed down, people would have wondered if we should have closed down. We will never ever know.
