President Donald Trump said Wednesday that the White House will not be extending its CCP virus social distancing guidelines that are set to expire on May 1 as more states look to re-open their economies.
Trump told reporters that the administration will be fading out the guidelines, which were initially put in place to curb the transmission of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, commonly known as the novel coronavirus.
Instead, governors will incorporate existing recommendations into their new future plans, he said.
Theyll be fading out, because now the governors are doing it, the president said during a roundtable with business leaders to discuss the strategy to reopen the U.S. economy.
The White Houses 30 Days to Slow the Spread guidelines were originally supposed to last 15 days, and were then extended an additional 30.
Under the measures, Americans are encouraged to work from home and avoid restaurants, group gatherings, and discretionary travel. The elderly and those with serious underlying health conditions were also advised to self-isolate.
Vice President Mike Pence said that the existing social distancing guidelines were being incorporated into the new guidance issued by the White House earlier this month that details how states can reopen gradually and safely.
Every state in America has embraced those guidelines at a minimum, or even done more, and now our focus is working with states, Pence said. The current guidelines, I think you can say, are very much incorporated in the guidance that were giving states to open up America again.

Herr DeWine is saddened.
It’s only good when you are surrounded by Close Talkers
Good! This whole thing has gone on way too long anyway.
We all need haircuts!
All they are saying is the the states have adopted the same rules, so the Feds don’t need to repeat the message.
This is not in any way a “relaxing” of restrictions.
So what. Many of the governors are extending even worse measures. In Maine all mass events (Lobster and Blues festivals, parades, etc.) are off for the summer. Some businesses can open under significant handicaps. Blah.
It’s only bad when you are surrounded by economic imbeciles.
Doesn’t matter really....people have begun going about there business anyway.
Fauci running to Politico o CNN to denounce this in 3.....2.....1....
Yes.
I am beginning to look like the wild man of Borneo lately.
Excellent!
Lets get back to MAGA
I sure hope everyone can go get their haircuts.
I hope people also get an economic education out of all of this.
When you get your haircut, you are supporting the barber/hairstylist, helping pay whatever hired help the haircut places have, helping pay the rent on the facility, and pay the operating expenses of the infrastructure of the business where the barber/hairstylists operate.
I guess the Mike Pence daily infomercial is over.
How to destroy an economy in 45 days.
Everyone be SURE to tip your barber/hairstylist/waiter/waitress/bellhop/other service workers VERY WELL when they come back.
This on the whole is still going to be a very tough year for them.
Darn! I was recently able to assemble matching mask and glove sets to match all of my outfits when I was going out among the English!
Well, guess I’ll need a new hobby, now. ;)
