Could Larry King’s CNN producers in 1993 discussed this further with Tara’s mother and possibly Tara herself? They’d be almost negligent if they didn’t. And could there be electronic records of this “looking into effort”?

Guy who would know is the retired custodial assistant who took the crumpled up office waste basket papers “Pursue Biden sex story? No. Would hurt Dems. Toss it. AJ.” and threw them into the incinerator as in Citizen Kane. Up in flames.

When has a CNN reporter ever worried about being on the right side of history.
CNN is a propaganda arm. It is what they do.
This idle speculation on her part does not take this into account and assumes that they are intellectually honest to a news story. They are not.
Wonder if Ronan Farrow intends to make his bones, cement his bona fides as a credible investigative journalist, and write the impossible to ignore definitive article on creepy Joe Biden to be published in early July. Sure there are Democrats who want this to happen.
They may have been waiting to see if other women come forward. Is this an isolated charge of sexual assault or does it involve a parade of victims?
CNN is working with the Dem Establishment toforce Biden to withdraw his candidacy prior to or at the beginning of the Dem Convention. Biden was the placeholder the Dem kingmakers wanted in order to insure Bernie didn’t get the nomination.
Is it a coincidence that the NY Dems have canceled their Presidential primary while still allowing the congressional primaries to go forward?
Answer: because in November it won't be news at all, old or new.
Biden is not going to be running in November, so why have any bad news for the Democrats cycle at all? Just convince him to pen his Reaganesque Alzheimers letter and let the nominee do a wonderful Biden tribute video at the convention. There may even be a tribute concert with the proceeds going to Alzheimers research.
If he's not the candidate, the media can basically skip this story and move onto the glowing tributes.
By the way, I believe that the Reagan Alzheimers letter (and the tributes that followed it -- because the press mistakenly thought it was safe by then to finally give him some of his due) was one of the reasons the Republicans won the house in 1994.
Don’t kid yourself, Biden has no chance either.

CNN has a wealth of ATT resources available to it.
Prior to the invasion of Iraq in 1991 CNN had spent years building cooperative relations with Iraqi officials. They were allowed to stay when most western correspondents were asked to leave. Their reporting from inside Baghdad at the onset of the gulf war elevated their coverage above the “big 3”.
Their coverage of democrat officials is likewise adulterated.
