Chuck Schumer to Demand Provision Preventing Trump’s Signature on Stimulus Checks

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is expected to introduce a provision to prevent President Trump’s signature from appearing on stimulus checks as part of the next coronavirus relief package, he announced this week.

Schumer plans to introduce the “No PR Act,” which would effectively prevent federal dollars from going toward “any material that promotes the names or signatures of Trump or Vice President Mike Pence,” according to Politico.

A provision like that can't be constitutional.

Separation of powers, the President controls the executive branch, and the Treasury is a part of the executive branch.

That would be like Congress passing a provision that declares a war, but says the army can't shoot rifles. They can only use handguns.

I can envision the ‘perfect storm’ when AOC runs against chuckiebaby for the NY Senate seat, then it may get REAL interesting if chelsea throws hillarys grandkids ‘in the ring’.

Senator Schumer is simply playing politics. Schumer is assuming that Trump’s signature will swing the election. It is funny how a democrat’s mind works.
