He did not say “bleach” , or “Lysol”. He said “disinfectant”, which is a medically valid statement; just depends on how you define the term.
One good rule is to never the let the boss speak to the press without a set of smart cards he refers to. He could certainly appear more statesmanlike.

The first person to specifically bring up injecting bleach or alcohol into a person was a reporter. And Trump said, no, those were to disinfect surfaces.

his response has been awful....at the briefing, there was talk of UV lighting etc....all he had to say was he was referring to UV light therapy, which is an actual procedure thats being explored. Instead, he said he was being sarcastic..i dunno, the whole things a disaster.
