Reacts to Ocasio-Cortez calling on Americans to not return to work
Franklin Graham, the CEO of Samaritan's Purse, the Christian ministry that provided an emergency hospital in New York City to treat coronavirus patients, is urging Americans to pray for the president as he deals with "stupid thinking" in Congress.
He referred to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., telling workers to just say "no" to returning to work.
The freshman congresswoman said: "Only in America, when the president tweets about liberation, does he mean go back to work. When we have this discussion about going back or reopening, I think a lot of people should just say 'no'were not going back to that '"
Graham reacted on Facebook: "Are you kidding me? Just say no? The vast majority of Americans want desperately to go back to work. Work is how farmers grow food for our tables, it is work that keeps the electricity runningwork is how America was built.

I do thank the Lord, and I pray often, that imbeciles such as Ocasio-Cortez not get their way.
I shudder to think that she has emerged as a Democrat leader, and could be president someday.
I love Franklin Graham.
I’d be much more thankful to the Lord if there were more in congress.
But everyone is sticking to script. Rs want to bail out the wealthy and Ds want to bail out the poor.
Anyone in the middle can eat cake.
Because anything besides a direct payment is going to be 75 percent graft.
We never learn and we still cut these HUGE checks for hundreds of billions.
SPJNK.
AOC is an a-hole.
Just a sec. Whose hiding waiting in their basements to be told that they can come out? Who has drunk the cool aid?
Opps...there's the first lie!
I shudder to think that she has emerged as a Democrat leader, and could be president someday.

Sadly probably sooner than later....
If they can/could declare BO ‘eligible’ because he ‘smelled good’ for a Black Guy, they can certainly (try to) overturn the age limit because only once in a lifetime does such an intelligent human being come along, so one can’t leave her sitting in the back room and ending up like HRC....
But I can see her running for Schumer’s seat then VEEP then pRez.....
That should scare the living Schiff out of all, age, race, sex, gender, preference etc aside.
It doesn't help that most of these idiots are coming from the big cities where they have a population that automatically votes for them.
He must have been calling out for weeks.
As mentioned in related threads, misguided AOC got herself elected to the wrong government, the constitutionally limited-power federal government, to prove once again that socialism doesnt work.
10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
In other words, she should have gotten herself elected as state leader to prove that socialism doesnt work using 10th Amendment-protected state powers as the founders had intended for those powers to experimented with.
Justice Brandeis had put it this way about the "laboratories of democracy," the unique powers of the sovereign states to serve the people, depending on what the legal majority citizen voters of a given state want.
"It is one of the happy incidents of the federal system that a single courageous State may, if its citizens choose [emphasis added], serve as a laboratory; and try novel social and economic experiments without risk to the rest of the country. Justice Brandeis, Laboratories of democracy.
Note that constitutional limits on states as laboratories of democracy is that states cannot establish privileged / protected classes or abridge constitutionally enumerated rights, and must maintain a constitutionally guaranteed republican form of government.
Insights welcome.
Send "Orange Man Bad" federal and state government Democrats and RINOs home in November!
Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping COVID-19 will effectively give fast-working Trump a third term in office imo.

Let my people go . . . Back to work!
Franklin Graham is lying.
People are not “ecstatic” about working at the expense of getting sick or making others sick.
Of course, as the rich son of a rich minister his view about what constitutes work have nothing in common with the rest of us.
AOC is certifiable.
Show us where he said that.
Please provide the quote and link to it.
Otherwise, HE is not the liar.
Why are you misrepresenting him? Jealous or something? A little class envy based on your perception of his worth?
They have been guilty of little else for my four score and 8.
From the article:
“Work is how farmers grow food for our tables, it is work that keeps the electricity runningwork is how America was built.”
All those people are essential workers and never stopped working during the shutdown. It may not be politically correct to call some workers “non-essential” but there is no getting around the fact that society will survive a shortage of assistant deans of diversity a lot better than it will a shortage of farmers, truckers, or doctors.
