Ethanol is a disinfectant. Hand sanitizers contain 65% ethanol.
Vodka and gin contain ethanol.
Tonic water contain 83 parts per million of quinine. (Hydroxychloroquine is a synthetic analog of quinine.)
It seems like the President is telling us to have vodka and tonic cocktails.

When it comes to recommending treatment for a pandemic, the president needs to rely more on his medical professionals.
His message was not articulated clearly, however worthy it may be of consideration. And then to follow this up with ‘I was being sarcastic’. is not good. Only Mr. Trump could (and will) get away with that kind of a walk back.
Once again the media has managed to steer the narrative into a box canyon.

No one in their right mind would think Trump wants anyone to drink disinfectant. Everyone knows he doesn’t drink alcohol let alone bleach.
