That’s good because their crops are rotting in the ground...that said, I think we have enough unskilled labor here to do it, but our unskilled has terrible to non-existent work habits and have actually never had to work a day in their lives. However, farmers do need laborers, and while I think the native indolent class should actually have to get out there and do something....that’s not going to happen.
But hang onto the rest of the jobs for Americans!

I think the ventilator stuff may be shading into makework (a la WPA).
Trump probably has a long game perspective.
1. insurance against a resurgence in the fall or local hotspots.
2. foreign aid to other countries once the worst is over in the USA (big foreign policy political win and campaign fodder for trump in the presidential election)
