Okay...I’ve noticed Dr Scarf do/say something, two days in a row, now. Probably not a biggie, but...it’s bothering me, a bit.

Yesterday, she looked around at one of her slides and said, This is based on the PRESIDENT’S guidelines.

Today....she says....this is why THE PRESIDENT is ordering extra ventilators.

Well....wait a minute....isn’t he doing a LOT of what he’s doing, based on what’s being recommended....by HER/these *experts*???

I think Dr. Birx is simply giving the accolade to the President for making the decision.

Good observations. Next time Dr Scarf is up, I’ll make pay more attention to what she says. I admit I’m watching this a bit distracted at times, lol.

I think the ventilator stuff may be shading into makework (a la WPA).

Trump probably has a long game perspective.

1. insurance against a resurgence in the fall or local hotspots.

2. foreign aid to other countries once the worst is over in the USA (big foreign policy political win and campaign fodder for trump in the presidential election)
