It must be to restore the rule of law by repatriating the 30+ million fraudulently documented foreigners who are currently squatting in our country producing anchor baby citizens who will determine our future.

“But we put aside our nation-building to face the challenge of a malevolent Stalinist empire dominant from the Elbe river to the Barents Sea.”
It would have sounded more impressive if Pat said the Bering Sea. The Barents Sea is only on the northern edge of Europe.

"We launched bloody, costly crusades for democracy in the Middle East that, invariably, failed. We exported a huge slice of our manufacturing capacity and economic independence to a coddled China."
I can't argue with that part of his article.

American causes that everyone can rally behind are long gone. Everyone won’t row in the same direction like they have before.

After the pandemic, the new American cause may be one of simple economic survival.

Drain the swamp, end Globalism, cut off foreign money to US Media so that the Media needs to serve the American people within a free and open marketplace of ideas.

The only cause that makes sense is total separation from the left. A cause theyre likely to get behind too. Time to divorce.

Bringing our troops home and stationing them at closed bases would funnel billions through our economy. It would go a long way to restoring economic soundness to our communities.
Create an airlift capacity to move them in a moments notice.

If it was me in charge it would be tearing out progressivism by its New Deal roots.

After the Great Pandemic has passed and we emerge from Great Depression II, what will be America's mission in the world?
How about we focus on securing our borders and ensuring good opportunities and prosperity for Americans? After we get that mission accomplished, we can start worrying about the rest of the world.

Immediate deployment?
I think this is going to be a great result of the space force.
To put heavy stuff in orbit, then bring it back safely. If focused, we could be 5 years out.

“what will be America’s mission in the world?”
Reversing the last 50 years and keeping “the world” over there where it/they belong. That’s assuming “we emerge” from what is coming. The impending collapse and upheaval could very well result in more than one America.
