Coronavirus: 2,500 protesters rally against Washington stay-at-home orders

SEATTLE — Thousands of people gathered at the Washington state Capitol to protest Gov. Jay Inslee’s stay-at-home order designed to combat the spread of the coronavirus.

In Olympia on Sunday, some protesters wore masks, while others waved American flags.

The Washington State Patrol said an estimated 2,500 people showed up to the protest. No arrests were made.

Tyler Miller, one of the organizers of the event, had said rural areas should be treated differently than more urban locations with more coronavirus cases.

Earlier Sunday, Inslee decried President Donald Trump’s call to “liberate” parts of the country from social-distancing decrees, saying Trump is fomenting a potentially deadly “insubordination” before the pandemic is contained.

The latest statewide death toll as reported by the Department of Health had reached 634 deaths among 11,790 confirmed coronavirus cases as of 11:59 p.m. Saturday.

Here’s a breakdown of some of the counties with the highest totals: King County has 346 deaths among 5,135 cases; Snohomish County has 94 deaths among 2,101 cases; and Pierce County has 32 deaths among 1,109 cases.

Interesting....but I thought there was some sort of agreement Trump recently alluded to that's either done or in the works regarding the oil markets. ....must be not settled or takes a quite awhile to implement.

People are very willing to social distance continue sanitary conditions the country needs to get back to work, restaurants can make adjustments for seating for a month or so, I believe this has been so overblown and the absolute fear being drilled into people by the media has been absurd!!

DemonRats want there to be zero cases before opening the country up again. Translation: We’re willing to permanently destroy the country in order to get Trump.

THE LIVES LOST DUE TO THE PANDEMIC

Let’s NOT forget those who might be ‘unstable’ and on the edge of completely loosing their composure, taking their own life and/or the lives of others. SOME are that close to losing it completely.

The ‘elites’ must be having a really tough time of it. While eating their expensive ice cream, they must make a decision:
We can either force our will on the deplorables who despise us
OR
we continue to attempt to keep them alive to garner their social security ‘mini-fortunes’ and income taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, unemployment taxes paid by employers.

Few really understand where government’s money originates so what do you think?

Or you can not social distance and just take the risk that you’ll be one of the 98% who will recover.

Mandate a positive antibody test before you can return to work and 100 million people will do precisely THAT. On purpose.

Herd immunity is coming. Whether Dr.Tony likes it or not.

Exactly what I’ve been thinking... all the blue states are waiting for Cuomo’s “cue” to open.

So glad these protests are happening... it’s a great stand up for our Constitution — and it’s driving the libs nuts!!!
