Did we shut the country down over these 79,000 deaths NO!!!
really? I cant go out to dinner, shop at my favorite fabric store, send my child to school with her friends or go to a baseball game. I have to stand i. lines outside stores u til someone leaves to satisfy an arbitrary number that some politician decided is safe to be in a store at once. I cant het my hair cut or nails done. I could t ate d my granddaughters baptism or go to church on Easter. Or this morning for that matter. I cant go for my Moms 80th birthday. What rock do you live under?
Shut the front door... Why don’t you just go lock yourself down Danny?
Int is getting amazing at the absurd lengths these guys are going to in an attempt to prove they are correct. I fully expect the next source to be the psychic in downtown Atlanta who told them they are right.
If theres a car on the railroad tracks, do you move it out of the way ... or do you make everyone stay off the road indefinitely just because they MIGHT stop on the railroad tracks?
For those that are truly at high risk yes. For the rest of us no
Stroke—13,000
Heart attack 3000
Influenza and Pneumonia 3000
Auto accidents 3200
Unintentional Falls 3200
Well it is abundantly clear that Danny and Vermont are loyal subjects craving for our chains to the government as they appear to love theirs.
Yes on 12,000 deaths from H1N1 BECAUSE Obama was POTUS and every damn heart attack, stroke, kidney failure ect. was NOT being counted as an H1N1 death!!!
I can. Maybe you should move.
Maybe you should vote for leaders who are not idiots.
Thats not “our” fault. You get angry at the people who posted early articles and said this was going to be bad. Get ready, we said. Be prepared, we said. They are shutting down China....”
And you gave us a hard time. You bullied us. You called us names. YOU called me names.
You chose to ignore it. You chose your leaders. Suck it up and live with it. Or revolt.
You have not chosen wisely since this whole thing started. Now you whine like little babies.
Grow up.
Your evidence, please?
‘2017 was a bad year with 79,000 dead, but that was the worst flu year in 40 years.’
and did we shut the country down, Danny...? was it an election year with a media bound and determined to bring down the sitting president...? did power hungry governors take advantage of a media driven panic to exert longed for control over the populace...?how come none of that happened in a year with a bad contagion, but is happening in this year with an equally bad contagion...? and in any case, are you advocating for a continued lockdown for the next two months, and totally trashing the economy through the fourth quarter...? are you getting scared that Trump might win the presidency...?
You dont isolate healthy people. You isolate the sick from them. What has happened here is bassackwards and stupid. You fell for it hook line sinker
You put up rail road crossing arms, so that people are temporarily kept off the track when the train is coming through.
That's what we have done with CV. We're keeping them off the tracks until the train passes. Or in this case, until we are better able to mitigate the spread and treat the virus.
A couple of weeks ago, New York was supposedly not going to have anywhere near the number required ventilators. Now Governor Cuomo wants to unload his stockpiles. Hospitals built by the Corps of Engineers to meet projected demand have been abandoned.
The idea that social distancing (a vaguely Orwellian phrase) has been decisive remains unproven by empirical evidence. People want to believe that--but there has been no controlled study (and who would want one?).
If you choose to believe what the MSM feeds you--go ahead. But some of us want to keep an open and independent mind.
Not to the leftists and their propaganda campaign, and that's all they're meant for. Political propaganda to get people to think the way they want them to. They're extremely dangerous to our freedom and our future.
I’m 71 w/slightly high BP (no meds) and occasional bronchitis of unknown etiology, normal BMI...would you consider that high risk?
We didn’t have the testing to identify the sick. Now we do.
We did try to isolate people we knew were exposed but the spread was exponential anyway.
I’m not sure what a “Flubro” is. Is it someone who thinks this is a very serious pandemic, or someone who thinks we are over-reacting?
Thanks.
