Anyone of whom could get a pallet load of materiel to them tomorrow, via FEMA and the task force. Lots of unused materiel sitting at the Javits Center.

Okay, but it’s from OAN and they said they were hearing the same thing from multiple hospital workers including doctors.
So why dont they give the names of the hospitals to the Trump team?
Give the names of those hospitals to Pence. Navarro or Kushner.
They will bypass the inept NY bureaucrats and fix it in 24 hours, Could almost guarantee.

My daughter works in a facility not unlike the one they had the cluster appear in Bellevue.
They said you can either, a)come up with your own gear or b) choose not to work your shift.
They aren’t providing any either.

It’s illegal for any healthcare worker to divulge anything about any patient. They can’t say who they have treated.
OSHA would not like that failure to provide PPE.
So those putting their lives in danger are being crapped on by hospital managers/administration who see budgets bleeding red?
Needs either those people to speak up or go around their employers without getting dox’ed.

That's HIPPA, but it isn't illegal to talk in broad generalities with no patient identifiable information.
It depends on the employer and how they interpret HIPPA.
My DIL is a nurse and she wouldn’t tell me if my own Aunt had a cat at the assisted living home where she worked.

Now, that would be specific info about a specific patient. Your DIL could say that one or a few patients have cats.
OK, If a reporter asks a nurse if she has ever treated a Kung-Flu patient it would be allowed.
If a patient in the hospital asks a nurse if she
treats any Kung-Flu patients then it’s illegal.
It depend who asks and when.
At the risk of being flamed, how can healthcare professionals get caught flatfooted?
We saw where this was going in late February and prepped accordingly. And neither of us are in healthcare.
Why do people who should know better wait for the government and/or their bosses to tell them to do something common sense was screaming at them to do earlier?

A friend’s sister is there. I posted about it several days ago, but I haven’t heard if things have improved. That was maybe Wednesday or Tuesday. My friend hasn’t said anything more.
That is the way you and I and most people would think. Here, however, it seems likely someone is working the agenda at the local level.
