here we go again....same as last Sunday..
Prayers up, but there are days I’m *glad* I’m up in the Tundra.
Missed me last time.
Hope it does again.
I’d rather be in an earthquake than a tornado. Earthquakes can be pretty scary but a tornado can literally shred you.
Tornado watches don’t faze this GA gal in the least.
When I leaved in Illinois, we got them all the time. Ping me when there is a warning.
About 2 yrs ago, a tornado hit 2 miles from me. Heard the siren while I was laying in bed. Still didn’t faze this GA gal... even though it grazed my old high school.
my uncle is in Tillatoba...hope they are spared.
Good Grief.
My daughter went through this last weekend in Starkville MS. I guess its a do-over.
You probably go out in public without a face mask. Or eat GMO food.
They SAY TN will be left out of the “fun” this round and I hope they’re correct. We’ve had plenty already this year.
A close family friend was missed by less than a quarter mile last Sunday by the tornado that ripped through Chattanooga.
A couple of weeks ago, I stood outside and videoed a tornado as it passed a couple of miles from our farm.
They say we’ll have storms tomorrow evening and if they’re just thunderstorms, we’ll be happy with that.
I hope things don’t turn out as bad as predicted tomorrow. MS, AL, and GA had more than their fair share last weekend and could use a break.
It’s the tornado’s that come while sleeping that I fear. Always keep keys, wallet. And shoes handy for a quick getaway.
Well, here we go again.
Springtime in the South can be interesting.
The “little” earthquake a few years ago in the Ohio valley cracked the concrete block and native stone structures at my place. Really hard to push the walls back together. And it tumbled lots of things off shelves, breaking some things.
The tornadoes seem to skip over the valley but straight line winds have turned a small pole barn inside out and laid it flat besides taking off pieces of roof and TV antennas.
There is a LOT of force in fast moving air.
Yeah, why panic every year at this time?? What good does it do?
What do you think they do in Oklahoma? Run around in a Tizzy all the time?
Fooey! And the press will be fomenting right on schedule!
“Missed me last time.
Hope it does again.”
Same here. Decatur, AL. Were told “extreme risk of tornado and large hail etc”. Ended up being some pretty hard rain at times at worst and not much wind at all.
Neat web page, thanks.
My in-laws used to live in Huntsville and it does get wild this time of year. Prayers up.
