FYI: Niagara Square is where several major roads meet in Buffalo; a circle surround by City Hall, the Federal Court, and other government offices. A large crowd could shut own downtown Buffalo. Yes, we are not New York City - a line that's been used around here since they drew up plans for Erie Canal - about 200 years.

Cuomo is managing two states when it comes to corona - New York City and suburbs which is the epicenter nationally of the epidemic and the rest of New York state which fits more the profile of Nebraska when it comes to corona. He needs to get upstate New York freed up and back to work with the rest of the country.

I think that it was the Michigan Governor who sneered about the recent protest to re-open Michigan, saying that there were “Right to Life” signs being help by protestors. Snotty woman.
Maybe our Liberation protesters could take a page from the lefties protests - and swipe this slogan:
“My Body - My Choice”
Turn it around on them for once.

I'm in Upstate. 4 cases in our town of 45,000. And that was a month ago. Stores are open and people are mingling. Masks but rarely gloves.
Masks are only needed if you are closer than 6 ft...and have a cough. And if you have a cough, you belong home.

Upstate has a few hot spots, nothing like NYC. Major metros, Ithaca, Steuben County. That last one is likey due to a couple of nursing homes with very bad problems.
But Upstate’s economy was on life support before WuFlu. Cuomo’s decision to shut us all down will finish off Upstate.

Very true about staying at home if symptomatic. But apparently asymptomatic are spreaders. So if you’re high risk, continue to stay at home and if you have to go out, mask up.
And get your freaking feet off our necks, Cuomo.
