Sources Believe Coronavirus Originated In Wuhan Lab As Part Of China's Efforts To Compete With US
Fox News ^ | 4-15-2020 | Bret Baier, Gregg Re

EXCLUSIVE: COVID-19 originated in a Wuhan laboratory not as a bioweapon, but as part of China's effort to demonstrate that its efforts to identify and combat viruses are equal to or greater than the capabilities of the United States, multiple sources who have been briefed on the details of early actions by China's government and seen relevant materials tell Fox News.

This may be the "costliest government coverup of all time," one of the sources said.

The sources believe the initial transmission of the virus was bat-to-human, and that "patient zero" worked at the laboratory, then went into the population in Wuhan.

Asked by Fox News' John Roberts about the reporting, President Trump remarked at Wednesday's coronavirus press briefing, "More and more we're hearing the story...we are doing a very thorough examination of this horrible situation."

Documents detail early efforts by doctors at the lab and early efforts at containment. The Wuhan wet market initially identified as a possible point of origin never sold bats, and the sources tell Fox News that blaming the wet market was an effort by China to deflect blame from the laboratory, along with the country's propaganda efforts targeting the U.S. and Italy.

U.S. Embassy officials warned in January 2018 about inadequate safety at the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab and passed on information about scientists conducting risky research on coronavirus from bats, The Washington Post reported Tuesday.

Responding to the report, Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Tuesday afternoon: "It should be no surprise to you that we have taken a keen interest in that and we've had a lot of intelligence take a hard look at that. I would just say at this point, it's inconclusive, although the weight of evidence seems to indicate natural,

That and more:

1. Chinese new year celebrations are in January and probably millions of Chinese throughout the world return to the homeland going back to their foreign homes later. Did many carry the virus beck with them? You betcha!

2. January 14 - A big celebration (name unrecalled) was held in Wuhan with 40,000 “families” in attendance. No doubt many came from other countries. Did many carry the virus back with them? You betcha!

3. When Wuhan was finally quarantined in late January, it was said several million of the residents had already fled the city. Where did they go? Did many carry the virus with them? You betcha!

Certainly the CCP government knew they were contaminating the world with this caronavirus. The questions are:

1. Did the spread occur by accident and got out of hand.

2. Did the CCP allow it to spread on purpose so as to emerge on the other side as the dominant world power (as well as the other communist countries - Russia and NK who were not affected by the virus)

3. If #2 is true, should caronavirus be classified as a Weapon of Mass Destruction?

Now, allow those questions to perculate in your mind for a while and then respond. Let’s get some of our FR deep thinkers going, and then the movers and shakers. This topic is of maximum importance. So sayeth elpadre!!!

Why would China infect their own city and spark the ire of the rest of the world instead of just strategically released the virus to spots around the world without a Chinese footprint?

I really dislike it when people quote anonymous “sources”.

With this, we can’t make head or tail of how reliable these people are.

Throw in the fact they have a Chinese Army General officer in charge of “research” . Why a senior Army officer unless the intent was weaponization.

Anyone with a functional cortex (i.e. not a democrat) has figured this out since the first days of the crisis.

The only reason I bought into the panic was the Chinese total freakout reaction. It wasn’t that this was a virus bad enough to justify their measures taken. They were just trying to cover up the origin of it.

15 Apr: Breitbart: British Newspaper Finally Stops Publishing Paid Propaganda from the Chinese Communist Party
by Kurt Zindulka
A leading British newspaper has decided to stop running paid propaganda articles from a mouthpiece of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) amidst a global effort by the regime in Beijing to influence Western opinion on the Wuhan virus pandemic.

The Daily Telegraph has removed its longstanding ‘China Watch’ section, which the paper has run for over ten years. The segment featured propaganda articles from the Chinese state-sponsored media outlet China Daily. Another part which ran articles from the People’s Daily, the official newspaper of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, has been removed as well...
According to The Guardian, some examples of articles that have since been deleted by the paper include: “Why are some framing China’s heroic efforts to stop coronavirus as inhumane?”; “Traditional Chinese medicine ‘helps fight coronavirus’”; and “Coronavirus outbreak is not an opportunity to score points against China”.
The Telegraph reportedly earned £750,000 per year to run the China Watch communist propaganda pieces...

Other Western newspapers including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal have all run paid articles from China Daily in the past. The New York Times said that it had discontinued the section earlier this year after its editorial board decided “to stop accepting branded content ads from state-run media, which includes China Daily”.
In March, the same American three papers were all banned from reporting inside China by the government in Beijing during the height of the coronavirus crisis...

Telegraph was once considered one of the major conservative newspaper in the UK!

To be able to deny it. They don’t care about the Chinese victims. IE: to get your very response.

The virus kills those who have underlying conditions, often the elderly. To a commie, they are ‘scarce resource users’, they don’t contribute to the economy, therefore ‘useless eaters’. When your economy has been burnt by PDJT requiring you to play fair, you reduce your costs if you can get rid of the ‘useless eaters’.

THAT, is in addition to KILLING the enemy’s economy through their doing ANYTHING to avoid the pandemic. (Their ‘enemy’ being the West.) The ChiComs OWN ALL OF THIS ECONOMIC DESTRUCTION!

Only my small part in the battle, but I check EVERYTHING that I buy now, to ensure it was not made in communist China. I also explain to EVERY store manager, exactly why I am NOT buying their ChiCom goods. I also mention that at so.e point, if I STILL see ChiCom products in their store, they will lose my business, PERIOD!

If EVERYONE did this, the ChiCom economy would be DONE.

Once the smoke clears, China is persona non grata because the global supply chain is going shift away from China.

Again, why would China intentionally release a footprint?
