The media are outraged that President Trump is talking about re-opening the country, following their previous position that he sure was taking his sweet time at opening up the country.
Fortunately, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's death forecasts from the Wuhan coronavirus have shrunk from 1.7 million Americans in mid-March; to 100,000 to 200,000 two weeks ago, provided there were massive suppression efforts; to -- most recently -- 60,000.
Every week, it seems, we’re another two weeks away from the “apex.”
According to a model recently published in The New York Times, if Trump had issued social distancing guidelines just two weeks earlier -- on March 2, rather than March 16 -- instead of 60,000 Americans dying from the Chinese coronavirus (projected!), only 6,000 would have died.
If that’s what a two-week quarantine would have done, then how about a four-week quarantine?
By the end of the month, 90% of the country will have been shut down, quarantined and socially distancing for FOUR WEEKS. A majority of Americans have already been under these self-isolation rules for three weeks. (And most of the rest live in rural communities 16 miles from one another.)
Two weeks is the magic number. Test positive for the Wuhan: self-quarantine for two weeks. Come into contact with someone who has it: self-quarantine for two weeks. Traveling from New York, New Jersey or Connecticut: self-quarantine for two weeks.

Oh yeah, this is all a leftist’s dream. Making people stay in their houses, local government writing their own laws to prosecute people who violate stay-home orders even if they’re going out into wilderness where nobody is, a crappy economy, not much on store shelves, they love all of this and don’t want it to go away.
What’s really bad is that now that it’s happened once, it’s a lot easier to do again for a garbage leftist cause. Michael Blew-$900-million-berg even said that he’d immediately declare a national emergency over the Global Warming Hoax. That’s a DemonRat’s dream. They could shut down the economy, shut down industry, kill nearly every American business, force you stay in your house while only well-placed liberals get to enjoy national parks and anything else. The great thing is, no act of Congress, no checks and balances, they’re the little boy king that can just do it and you’re under arrest if you defy it. Don’t think it can’t happen, it is right now and the libs are trying to prolong it, they’re happy to see this go on forever.
But putting the entire country under stay-at-home orders? No problem.

If you read From Dawn To Decadence by Jacques Barzun, you will see this evil raise its head periodically over the past 500 years. It may go back further, but Barzun only goes back that far.
If it is, as I believe, the work of Satan, then it will continue to recur until Our Lord returns. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t continue to fight it.

Yeah. What's really interesting about the COVID "emergency" is that there are over 50,000 fewer deaths since the beginning of February than normal. The COVID deaths are included in the total of course, along with the fake COVID deaths. But 50,000 fewer than normal for this time of year.
Yet, when global warming caused hurricane Maria to hit Puerto Rico, there were 3,000 "deaths" due to people leaving Puerto Rico and not coming back. They used airport surveys and other "science" to prove that the population drop was actually due to bad orange man bad and not people leaving and not coming back.
So, according to the "science" everything is an emergency and we must embrace communism or fascism at the very least. California can't manage their forests properly? Emergency. Make everyone ride the subway so they can get COVID.

Yep. California pissed me off because, living in Utah, their gross mismanagement of their forest lands smoked out my entire state all summer. We should’ve been allowed to sue them for the poor air quality and medical care for people that with lung issues, and I said as much in letters to my state governor and congressmen. That’s California’s solution: do nothing, let it burn like you know it will, and then cry for FEMA money. It’s your fault, you pay for it out of state funds. I have the same attitude toward people who live in Tornado Alley. You gonna claim you had no idea that your house would wind up gone and your entire town looks like it was nuked? It happens every freakin’ year! The only reason for living there is that you’re looking to collect insurance and FEMA money.
