Boating, jet-skiing banned under Michigan stay-at-home order; kayaking allowed
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer extended the state's stay-at-home order on Thursday, and using a motorboat, jet ski or other similar watercraft is not allowed.

The state clarified the order in a FAQ section, asking if boating constituted an outdoor activity.

While physical outdoor activity is allowed, like kayaking, canoeing and sailing, "using a motorboat, a jet ski, or other similar watercraft is not. Any outdoor activity permitted under the order, including boating, must be done in a manner consistent with social distancing, and individuals should use only their own equipment to prevent the transmission of the virus through the touching of shared surfaces."

I watched a couple of the live videos today and it didn’t seem like there were thousdands of vehicles and protestors. However, I see news accounts do report that there were thousands of vehicles so I (happily and cozily) stand corrected. :)

LOL!

Glad to make you feel good. :)

We were there and it was nice except for the little brown shirt wanta-be who was photographing license plates. But he got chased off so all's well that ends well.

Having attended many Tea Party rallies I had a lot of flashbacks watching those live feeds of the protest today. Some of the TP gatherings were pretty big events, especially the one in Washington in 2009. Guess you can see where I’m coming from. :)

I have to admit we were not as big as the Tea Party protests in Washington DC but I think we made a pretty good showing.
