During a daily press conference on the status of the state's coronavirus response, Cuomo pledged to work with the governors of New Jersey and Connecticut to determine when the state could emerge from lockdown safely.
"People want to get on with their lives, people want to get out of the house, [they've got] cabin fever," the governor said Sunday.
"We need the economy working, people need a paycheck, life has to function. When do we reopen?" Cuomo continued. "Look, the answer is we want to reopen as soon as possible. Everyone does on a societal level; everyone does on a personal level."

Right, and NY has got to get some State taxes rolling in. They among the most dependent on it. This is true for most of the rat states. This more then anything will make them open because states can’t print money. They may want to keep the economy down but they drowning.
With so many New Yorkers hiding in their parent’s basements in nearby states. I hope he opens the flood gates soon because the NYC spread hurts the whole East Coast.

I don't think that Gov. Nipplerings has the stones to make the decision himself. He will wait to get permission from Fauci. Which he will never get.

According to this data:
New York, New Jersey and Michigan account for over 60% of the nations COVID fatalities.
All the other states can likely start opening up for business. NY, NJ and MI, not so much.
Cuomo can't do anything himself.
