Many including the defiant pastor, Rev. Jack Roberts arrived with their plates covered, with officers instead recording their VIN numbers, the paper said.
Even more desperate measures appeared to have been taken to keep the faithful away with piles of nails blocking each entrance, according to photos shared by the Courier Journal.
It was not clear who had left the nails, which were eventually cleared by church volunteers in time for the main arrivals, the paper said.
Kentucky State Police troopers then left large signs on every car left in the church lot, the paper said accusing those present of CREATING SCENES OF AN EMERGENCY.
They noted that everyone in the car owners household would be forced to quarantine for 14-days for defying the warning an order several worshippers told the Courier Journal that they planned to ignore.

Why don't you quarantine yourself? Have items delivered and spray what you get down. Then, you won't have to worry about other people that are healthy going to church.
So tell me, how is a family, being in an automobile any different than a family in a house? Obviously, being in an automobile is isolated and proper social distancing from other folks in automobiles.
Then there’s that pesky 1st amendment thingy.
We are. At least those of us that didn't vote for Corrupt Commissar Beshear are.
Don't kid yourself, though. With *perhaps* a few exceptions, when crunch time comes, you should expect this from LEO in most places.
The state governments' actions in regards to this virus look to be a pivotal moment in history. A very bad one for liberty and the republic.
For some reason a song from the first Blue Oyster Cut LP comes to mind. "I'm on the Lamb, But I Ain't no Sheep"
So will police investigate who maliciously spread the nails in the church entrance? If the church has security cameras, then there is likely video of the perps.
Just imagine if they put this effort into apprehending criminals. Like surround a Home depot parking lot and deporting illegals.
But no, oppressing citizens with unconstitutional edicts is much more important.
I don’t know how the Kentucky State Police are equipped, but wouldn’t it be more effective to use a tack strip... like they do for roadblocks? Just dumping some simple brads seems kind of amateur-hour and more like the mischief that ANTIFA would pull.
Someone needs to fire the police, charge them if involved in violations of civil rights, sabatogue, etc. very undemocratic, unconstitutional, and very unAmerican of them.
I think this was a drive-in service, broadcast over AM radio by the pastor to congregants in their cars, and was explicitly allowed by a federal judge.
About mid-week, the psycho FearBros will be suicidal.
You must be dreaming.
Nothing will happen to them.
A lot of it has to do with Kentucky having Democrat governors for 92 of the last 100 years (something like that).
Before Beshear we had a Republican Governor, Matt Bevin, who tried to fix Kentucky's very broken pension system but that ticked off the teachers who led the way for Beshear to win by 4,000 votes.
I see

Boot licking stooge...
Speaking of single digit IQ’s
If those complaining about others breaking quarantines,
Would THEMSELVES not break quarantine, they’d have nothing to worry about.
Would they???
A federal judge ruled on Saturday that the mayor of Louisvilles stunning ban on drive-in Easter church services was unconstitutional.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell cheered the decision Saturday.
Grateful for this strong, eloquent ruling defending Kentuckians religious liberty, McConnell tweeted.

I suspect you will be at the front of the line when the mayor announces trains to Chinese virus decontamination camps.
That’s kind of unfair. Plenty of good people in law enforcement.
Though I have to agree that the bad ones really are Hitler Youth.
Nails ridiculous and unnecessary. Keep the group quarantined for ever how many days. Release the new who are virus free at the end. An emergency is an emergency. The governor has the power necessary.
...as an aside, I’m not usually a grammar nazi but; your syntax is strange.
I think you left out “is someone who”.
