The massive army field hospital that hundreds of troops built inside a Seattle convention center last week will be dismantled before treating a single patient.
Instead, it will be redeployed to a state facing a more difficult battle against the coronavirus outbreak, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee said Wednesday.
Nearly 300 soldiers from Fort Carson, Colo., and Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) near Tacoma, Wash., built the makeshift facility inside CenturyLink Field Event Center, normally home to the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Sounders of the MLS, for patients who do not have COVID-19.
"We requested this resource before our physical distancing strategies were fully implemented and we had considerable concerns that our hospitals would be overloaded with Covid-19 cases," Inslee said in a press release.

Maybe I am wrong, but it appears that maybe we over reacted and literally screwed the pooch on this whole Burn the House Down to stop a little water damage idea.
You’re looking at what happens when your society is governed by the whims of suburban women. It invariably ends up run in way that is transparently ignorant, ill-informed, impractical, and in ruins.

Gov. Jay Dimslee frequently criticized Trump because he was being polotocally snubbed on the material and help he was given. Now he had excess respirators and never used one bed in the field hospital.
But no public retraction of his politicly charged complaints

And our government hires “experts” who apparently don’t know jack squat. It’s remarkable that these “experts” have decades-long track records of being incredibly wrong yet retain their jobs.

Dimslee is a liberal hack owned by the public section unions, he has no incentive to reopen unless state gov’t runs out of tax revenue and gov’t employees have to be furloughed or cut... then we will open again.
