Probably different than “Texas” sung by Buddy Miles on the Electric Flag album and his own Buddy Miles Express album The Best of Buddy Miles. Just dug that out yesterday and was amazed again.
Overlooked and nearly forgotten and now gone. Did the California Raisins songs.
Re-issue of Jimi Hendrix Band of Gypsies deluxe set is an exception.
Listen to the lyrics....
It is not “season ticket on a one way ride”.
Listen for “she’s a n....r on a one way ride.”
Listen through the stanza. It makes sense.
She’s a hooker, “living free....”
Oh, and it is RACISSSSSSSSSS.
Enjoy your cake....

Yes, Dionne, I know the way to San Jose.
From LA, get on the "great big freeway" known as the San Bernardino Freeway, or Interstate 10, proceed east all the way to I-19, then veer right. Continue south as I-19 becomes Rte. 15. At Tepic, turn right on Rte 200, which becomes Rte. 1 at Malacatán.
Try to arrive at Malacatán at mealtime, so you can have Chinese food at the popular Jade Occidental restaurant. After your meal, continue along Rte. 1 to San Cristóbal Totonicapán and turn right on CA 1. Stay on CA 1 all the way to San Jose.

Never heard of it.
Just kidding.
I have every regular issue CD, most of the studio sessions bootlegs, early and late radio shows, most live cds, interviews and the box sets (not the Columbia one, sadly). Probably 200+ CDs of Frank Sinatra. Sorta like him.
Filipino Baby, by Ernest Tubb.
“We Are The Boys From Old Florida”.
Heh. Hope its not my destination but its too soon to tell. I’ll try to let you know. ;-)
