The Wanna Be King, Newsom, doesn’t represent the wishes of the citizens of the state of California. He does this crap all on his own with his Marxist cohorts in the CA Assembly. The Marxist got into office via voter fraud. He’s loathed and despised. There was a recall effort a few months ago where people were literally running across parking lots to sign. Newsom’s cohorts screwed the Recall Petition drive. Time to start over with another Recall.
If America is divisible, then California is divisible.
Bingo. We have the guns, the farmers/ranchers and a lot of good blue collar people.
They would have LA/Follywood, Gay Frisco, Silly Con Valley, and Sac..

But coming from a clown, you expect it to be funny and if you think about it, it really is. It’s a lesson in how to ruin a country by sheer stupidity:
1. Under the Constitution the States are sovereign and they are supposed to run their own affairs and their own hospitals.
2. The progressives were impatient with States not being progressive enough on matters like commerce (the New Deal) and social policy (which for them means only one thing: abortion). So they trashed Federalism as racist “States rights” and got the Federal government (mostly via the courts) to run everything from the schools to health care.
3. Now they they think the Federal government is responsible for everything and so the blue States do nothing to (for example) stock their own ventilators (New York decided not to buy them, California bought then then got tired of paying for the storage).
4. Now they think they need to secede in order to get the rights they had in stage 1.

Without the massive electoral college block from California, the Dems in the Federal USA would be in dire straights.
The DNC will never win another national election if California secedes and takes its electoral votes, 53/55.
They would lose 2 $inators and most of our 53 representatives aka Congressits.

Agreed, using the term may not be improper as a rhetorical device.
The important part: he’s shifting the Overton Window by referring to CA not as a State as part of the United States, but as a separate entity (if only as a largely coastal population adhered to the southwestern corner of North America).
The shift makes it easier to think about outright “otherness” & independence.
Akin to Rwanda, I expect we’ll wake up one morning to find CA radio stations declaring “It’s time!” and the population knowing exactly what that means, violently & rapidly severing all ties with the USA proper. “California is a nation-state” prepares for that time.
(Observation: there’s only about 30ish roads in/out of CA, if I recall.)

The state of Jefferson, our counties along the Oregon border and Oregon’s border with Cali would finally be viable.
That would bring in 2 Republican Senators and several representatives and more electoral votes.

Seems like the only thing he and Cuomo and the other Rat governors are capable of is groveling to the federal government, and then complaining like little kids.
