some of his language about the giveaway has ruffled some feathers.
With the coronavirus pandemic spreading, a Georgia Republican running for Congress is giving away a semiautomatic rifle to one lucky supporter who can use it to shoot looting hordes from Atlanta.
Broun told The Guardian in a Tuesday phone interview that his reference to looting hordes from Atlanta was not racial.
Only the liberal press would take that kind of position. There are a lot of white people in Atlanta as well, Broun said to The Guardian. Maam, I have been a keynote speaker at an MLK Day Celebration.

Hes got a hundred votes from me !!!;)
Sure, but you’re on FR, and unlikely to rampage out of town into the suburbs.
BTW, I have a son who lives in Mid-Town.
He says its great, but that there are some sections of Atlanta which are very dicey.
That was a T-shirt/ bumper sticker from the ‘80s.
Sherman burned it down. We should have left it that way.
Okay, yankee.
You sir are without charm or reason
I attended one of his Town Hall events back in 2012. He was my congress critter when he represented the GA 10th district.
My interaction with him made CNN. I had friends call me and say did you see yourself on TV? Made the local news as well.
Think back to 2012. Tea Party. I wanted him to know that he was elected to be my voice in congress and that he had better step it up.
I’m upset about it also, because...
...he’s only giving away one.
My thought is not that he was being racial, I thought he was expressing a sentiment about big cities vs small towns.
But to racists, everything is racial.
Under fire means the libs are mad. Democrats say whatever they want.
Gun control is officially dead.
Not even suburban soccer moms are in favor anymore.

But I am with humour, and a Georgia native. 8~)
Paul Broun trying to come back.
Is he a Paulestinian?
I think so. Maybe Broun is not a full-throttle Paultard, but he’s at the very least Paul-curious and a fellow traveler of his. Ron Paul and Paul Broun form a mutual-admiration society (with Broun constantly bragging about how he votes just like Paul, and Paul aleays endorsing Broun’s campaigns. Rand Paul later distanced himself from Broun, but only after it came out that Broun was an admitted Young-Earth Creationist.
There are plenty of good conservative candidates in GA-09, and I would prefer any of them over Broun. It’s the safest GOP district in the state (and maybe the country), so whomever we nominate will win; let’s not waste our pick with a possible Amash/Massie Paulistinian.
Lots of speculation on Twitter about the WI Supreme Court race. “Predictit” is giving odds on the rat bitch winning, have heard anything that would bare that out?
I hate this ridiculous waiting.
Don’t know why the bettors on Predict It think that the Leftist will win; I saw the absentee-ballot rates for big counties, and the heavily conservative WOW counties were off the charts while Dane and Milwaukee were lagging. I think that we’ll get good news when they announce results early next week.
Horrible news out of Wisconsin: The Leftist witch won the Supreme Court race by a fairly comfortable margin: https://projects.jsonline.com/topics/election/2020/4/13/wisconsin-spring-election-results-april-7.html Waukesha and (especially) Ozoukee did not deliver for Kelly. So the conservative majority in the WI Supreme Court is down to 4-3.
“Horrible news out of Wisconsin: The Leftist witch won the Supreme Court race by a fairly comfortable margin”
Well that’s a real mallet to the testicles, pardon my French, Diana.
So those libtards on twitter and “predict” were on to something, I assume all they had to go n were the same abseetee requests you saw. 10 points though? Kcuf. That’s got me worried for November.
I heard there was a case to toss 300,000 pieces of crap off the voter rolls, what happens to that? One idiot defector could screw it up. And if anyone dies Evers gets to appoint a replacement.
Worst of all smug liberal assholes are celebrating. We need to figure out what went wrong.
