Democrat presidential hopeful and former Vice President Joe Biden appeared to have trouble making a point about past pandemics, the Civil War, coronavirus, democracy, elections and public health on Sunday during an interview on ABC'S “This Week” with Host George Stephanopoulos.
After comparing the Civil War to ‘the pandemic of 17, all the way around, 16,” Biden said “We have never, never let our democracy sakes second fiddle” before saying something about how the U.S. can “correct the public health” despite democracy and elections:
“We cannot let this, we’ve never allowed any crisis from the Civil War straight through to the pandemic of 17, all the way around, 16, we have never, never let our democracy sakes second fiddle, way they, we can both have a democracy and elections and, at the same time, correct the public health.”

It’s not pretty even when a smart person goes senile. Joe Biden has never been smart. Each one of these instances, taken alone, means nothing. All of them together are the basis for an intervention.

Every time I see one of his “at home” gaffes I think this is the same one, but every time it is him saying something different. Everyday he is making some kind of incoherent statement. It is like he just puts words together randomly with no meaning.
