The sessions have become a boring show of President vs. the press.

I don’t need “the press” at all.
I agree. I stopped watching them last week. Once I realized that Fauci was all for a permanent shutdown of the economy and churches, and that the President wasn’t going to overrule the odious bureaucrat, I had all the information I needed.
The current press we have is expendable!
Journos. Somebody tell them the difference between “boring” and “fun as hell.”
It’s actually one of the highlights of my day...as I find myself in isolation.
I never grow tired of watching Trump treat the press like little children.
Bring it on....perhaps they will show re-runs for our pleasure!
We’ve been going through this for about 4 years now. The President doesn’t start fights. He counter-punches.
If journalists at the WSJ, or elsewhere, want to see less feuding, then they should stop attacking the President. Anyone watching these events can see that eliciting Information is not their goal. They just want to “get” the President. They ought to stop.
Translation: Trump kicks the crap out of the media every day so it’s no fun. Ha ha moron we LOVE watching the look like fools
okay then remove the press.
they have been acting like asses anyway, almost never asking any serious or helpful questions
What are the ratings?
It is boring. He says the same thing every night. Every speaker says kind things about the President. I support Trump all the way, but these briefings should be cut to one or two a week.
I watch them until the sparring with the press portion. Then it’s off.
Watch what people do, not what they say.
Actually I find the briefings give me context as to what the Federal government is doing especially when people are saying ventilators are not getting somewhere.
As for your comment on Fauci, you seem, like a lot of others on the discussion board, to forget that there is a task force and he is only one part of the task force. The task force assesses the data and based on various economic, political and health factors makes the recommendation to the president.
Have you written to Trump telling him he needs to sideline Fauci?
I have. I think the quicker we all do that the sooner this will come to an end. Trump’s stuck in a bit of a bubble too in this situation and likely does not fully realize how deeply Dr. Doom is despised out here.
Wait a minute, how can you know he says the same thing every night unless you’re tuning in every night?
Trump is an exquisite counterpuncher. If you leave him alone, he leaves you alone. If you hit at him (or someone he cares about) he hits back and harder. It is not pretty, of “politically correct” but it works for him.
The Dems have him all wrong. If they wanted to neutralize him, just ignore him. The press is just too stupid and locked into a self destructive spiral.
Some people need adaily reminder that they should stay in their room away from family that has been out and about. Some people dont realize they are an at risk demographic. Those people are dangerous to everyone.theyve lived a long life and this virus doesnt scare them.
Trump should issue an EO stating that no member of the Whitehouse Correspondents Organization may be given Hydroxychloroquin. Penalty is loss of
Press credentials, a $50,000 fine and/or imprisonment (in solitary confinement) for 2-5 years.
