I suppose the WHO wouldn’t recommend condoms to those who engage HIV ridden crack whores, due to a false sense of security.
I’ll wear my N100 if I want to. Kiss it.

I’ve always hated wearing masks. I refuse to wear one. I have the right to take my chances. Screw the authorities.

And once again, WHO misses the point. Face masks on supposedly healthy people are to protect others in case “healthy” is incorrect. It limits the spread of droplets carrying the virus. That’s why I wear a face mask — to protect others. Doesn’t help me. For my protection, social distancing and limiting outings are key.

I do not wear a face covering right now. If I were actively coughing, perhaps. Now, mrs. jimfree has worn a bandana in the store on our last couple of grocery trips. She didn’t quite pull of the train robber look but it was suggested.

I don't really have much confidence in either the CDC or WHO. They are both highly political outfits. They spend more time on politics than on medicine.

Defund WHO
Defund the UN
Boot them out of the US.
Thank you.

Facemasks, even if just a scarf are effective if nothing else for stopping people from sneezing all over each other and touching their face. Certainly better than the other braindead idea to arrest people for walking outside alone. I have no idea what the WHO is smoking but this automatically proves they’re no experts.

"WHO officials said healthy people who wear masks
might touch their own faces more often than necessary, which
could increase their risk for COVID-19."
In other words, they don't have a clue, but they're going to act as if they do.

I live in Cincinnati...the only ones I see wearing masks are near downtown and uptown near the university of Cincinnati, and Clifton, where all the granola and professor booksmart idiots reside. They wear masks because they all watch CNNMSNBCCBSABCCNBCBLOOMBERG.
Nuff said. No masks here.

Wouldn’t the outside of a face mask after wearing it for a while have more toxins since it works like a vacuum cleaner bag.

Common sense should tell them that even if most available mask do not filter out the viral pathogen, any kind of covering that prevents or reduces the amount of sputum from persons is going to at least reduce the viral load. Which load
might influence how severe an infection will be, all other things being equal.
As for false sense of security, based on that logic seat belts should not be worn.

Define face mask! There are the things made from old t-shirts and string, to professional quality ones used by doctors and nurses. Failure to define face mask leads to headlines like the one used here.
I have this old thing, with sparkles, from last New Years. Does that count as a face mask?
