The Science is you wear a Mask to not infect others, not to protect yourself from others. The exception being Healthcare workers who are in direct contact with the afflicted. The POTUS has tested negative and is tested on an ongoing issue.

Masks protect others. POTUS has had 2 tests, so far, both negative. He has no reason to wear a mask.
I will bet that IF he did wear a mask, the media would speculate he tested positive, because that is the only reason to wear a mask. They would characterize him as fearful and weak.
Using a barrier in public is probably mostly psychologically comforting.
