During this time of unprecedented uncertainty relatd to the novel coronavirus, American communities and industries have been voluntarily coming together to do what they can. Companies have switched over to producing medical masks. Billionaires are throwing massive amounts of personal wealth into developing open source treatments. Most recently, Google has committed to donating $800 million to help fight the spread of the virus globally, demonstrating that we are not experiencing this crisis alone.
Yet some in the Trump administration, Peter Navarro in particular, seem keen to not let a crisis go to waste.
he Director of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, and newly-minted national Defense Production Act policy coordinator, Navarro has reportedly been trying to convince President Trump to impose an executive order that would force all government agencies to buy American.

Yes.
Buy American.
Scandalous.
Home Depot sells a tool that can fix these folks for $14.98.
The globalist monster just won’t die.
The 1983 statute applies only to Federal funds used for transportation projects. But under the 1933 law it sounds like the Federal government is already required to buy only from domestic sources unless certain conditions are met and/or the President extends a waiver. What does Peter Navarro have to do with this?
Free Traitors want you to bend over and take another round from Pooh Bear.
Buy American!
Glad Google has done a minimum for US at least. Has Bloomberg donated any thing? A lot of Patriotic Celebrities eg Dolly Parton have but the anti US Dem Chinese billionaire is at nada,I heard -0- from that New Yorker. Let me know IF he does anything significant.
How do you overcome that?
Be sure to read Peter Navarro & Greg Autry’s book, Death by China as well.
Navarro was a democrat who believed the Republican party was everything the left said they were. But the dems went so far left, Navarro took a look at the GOP and changed his mind, I think.. I’m trying to find out who Trump’s advisers are in reality. I don’t believe the pandemic should be shutting the whole country down for a time no one knows. and an election coming up...
Navarro has been sounding the alarm about China for a long time. He knows the communist beast and has noted how China keeps gaining economic, political and military clout in a world where it should not be trusted.
China has been buying politicians, scientists and businessmen for decades now.
Navarro is the good guy here, not those who want globalism, regardless the consequences.
Tariffs.
So your solution is to make already high prescription prices five times higher?
Studies have shown that pharmaceutical manufacturing can cost as much as five times more in the United States than elsewhere.
How do you overcome that?
How do you overcome that?
“How do you overcome that?”
By asking who did the study. That simple. Not true.
From Wiki
Did drugs get cheaper when the factories were sent to China?
Oh, nope.
Can you imagine if President Trump read this at one of these daily briefing. Keep things in perspective.
I THINK THIS CAME FROM—Rush Limbaugh yesterday (01-APR-42020) went thru this list. (transcript from his web site)
Shocking List Of Whats Killed The Most People In 2020.

RUSH: Let me start again. I know numbers are hard to follow on radio. I do it better than most because I am patient. This is January 1st through March 25th. So basically three months.
Coronavirus, 21,000 deaths.
Seasonal flu, 113,000.
Malaria, 228,000.
Suicide, 249,000.
Traffic fatalities, 313, almost 314,000 deaths.
HIV/AIDS, 391,000 deaths.
Alcohol related deaths, 581,000.
Smoking-related deaths, 1,162,000.
Cancer deaths, 1,909,000 deaths.
Deaths attributed to starvation, 2,382,000 deaths.
And death by abortion, 9,900,000.
In the first three months of this year, January 1 through March 25th.
Im not trying to make any correlation. Im not Im trying to say, Hey, were overreacting to coronavirus death. Im just giving you the stats here. You can react to these stats however you wish: 21,000 coronavirus; 113,000 flu; 228,000 malaria; 250,000 suicide; 313,000 traffic; 390,000 AIDS; 581,000 booze; 1,162,000 smoking; two million cancer; 2,300,000 hunger; 9,900,000 abortion.
Throw the abortion numbers out. Im not trying to be provocative here. I mean, you cant. But throw em out, you still have some really shocking numbers. Because we dont talk about it. We got suicide hotlines. We try to teach people to drive safely. We do whatever we do with HIV/AIDS. We tell people to drink responsibly, tell people not to smoke, try to devise cancer treatments, we try to feed people.
Cut MM a little slack, he’s already made his discretionary expenditures for this year.
