A day after he was abruptly fired by President Trump, outgoing Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson spoke on the phone with Senate Minority Chuck Schumer.
The New York Democrat said Saturday evening that he told the independent watchdog, whom defenders fear was removed to settle a score stemming from the impeachment saga, he will be remembered as a "hero."
"I spoke to Inspector General Michael Atkinson tonight, thanked him for his service, and told him that history will remember him as a hero and those who retaliated against him as scoundrels," Schumer tweeted.

He wasn’t abruptly fired. He has 30 days to continue The Resistance instead of being walked out the same day.
He might not be actually fired, just reassigned within the Deep State.

Trump needs to do a mass firing of Rats. Anyone that came on board during the OBiden administration needs to be fired. Special attention should be payed to anyone that worked with Quid Pro Joe. That needs to highly touted by the President - tweeted from on high. This will piss Crazy Joe off so much his tongue will be tied for weeks. He’ll make one goof ball remark after another.
