The Time has Come for some Answers about the Coronavirus Pandemic
American Thinker.com ^ | April 4, 2020 | Steve McCann

How much does the general public really know about the Chinese Coronavirus? What is the death rate solely attributable to the virus? Of those that have died, how many had serious underlying conditions? Do the reported deaths include those who died of other ailments but had also contracted the virus? What is the actual age breakdown of fatalities? The CDC claims that this virus is extraordinarily contagious; how much of a threat to spread the virus to others are those who are asymptomatic (have the virus but report no symptoms) yet are still contagious?

Since the Chinese Communist Party has refused to fully share their actual experience with the world, including the death toll, one has to turn to other sources. There are presently two primary sources that can be analyzed: Italy and New York City.

As of April 1, 2020, Italy had recorded 13,100 deaths (4.3% of its recorded cases). By far the highest number in the world, if China’s extremely dubious 3,300 deaths can be believed. 87% of all the deaths in Italy have occurred among those over 70.

It is generally acknowledged that not only does Italy have the oldest median population in Europe but also among the unhealthiest due to smoking and air pollution in Northern Italy, the epicenter of their coronavirus outbreak. Further, its medical care system is among the worst in Europe and overstretched even in the best of times.

As to how they have categorized the death toll, Professor Walter Ricciardi, Advisor to the Italian Ministry of Health:

Which is the “presumed” death rate and not the actual

From the article: “However, a more comprehensive study undertaken by the same National Health Institute examined in detail the medical records of 18% of (Italy’s) coronavirus fatalities and found that only 0.8% of the total deaths were due solely to the coronavirus. Using the total number of coronavirus cases in Italy, the death rate for those with no underlying issues is 0.014%. The underlying conditions most prevalent among the fatalities were lung disease, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.”

He goes on to state that the death rate in NYC for those with no underlying issues is .03% and then asks the question of why exactly are healthy people on lockdown over this?

Trump needs to look at the big picture, and hopefully he is, and is biding his time until putting the country back to work.

The BIG question is: How many total deaths for the same time frame in the previous year vs. this year?

That's the only way we'll know real numbers.

Why are there 370,000 Chinese exchange students in U.S. universities ? Is this largely responsible for the spread of the virus in the United States ?

China refuses to shut down “ wet markets “, and implement proper safeguards in labs studying viruses.

Meanwhile, China continues to steal U.S. technological and intellectual property.

Again, why are there 370,000 Chinese exchange students in U.S. universities ?

Is it the old “ racist “ refrain that allows this insanity ?

How many were even offered the malaria cocktail? And why not?

Anyone who tests positive and has a fever should be offered the cocktail.

A fever means you're sick and fighting. The doctor would rather have you wind up in the hospital? Since when is that how it works.

Will the spike in suicides also be counted into this data?

The US has known that Wuhan had a lab involved in bio-chemical warfare experimentation; where was the CIA in all of this?

That will be blamed on HCQ - that nobody in America, except for politicians and celebrities, are able to get. Anything to kill off as many normal Americans and keep the fear going.

You got to love a piece that boldly starts with, “The Time has Come for some Answers..”, and then cringes away from Peking with, “Since the Chinese Communist Party has refused to fully share...”, at the very first chance it gets.

There is more than a stink of fear to the endless analysis trying to excuse the COVID-19 deaths. Age or existing health issues will sooth the fear and make these deaths “not count”. Nothing will have changed, but, somehow, we’ll all feel better. That seems to be the thinking, even though it does nothing for anyone’s age or health issues they may already have.

The “answer” that you’re not going to get is that China has just killed a lot of people around the world, rather than have balanced trade. Trying to minimize this just makes people look like supporters of this action.

” Where was the CIA in all this “, you ask ?

They were spying on a presidential candidate who threatened their nefarious machinations in the Deep State.

It's because it's so contagious....Healthy people can still contract the disease, be asymptomatic and spread it to those who are elderly and/or those with underlying health conditions. Same reason they've closed schools. Children can be asymptomatic carriers and bring it home to vulnerable parents/grandparents. Don't know why the author hasn't figured this out.

Perhaps for future waves, lockdown 70+ yos, those with issues, and anyone who lives with either of those groups. Probably the same amount of people.

Don’t you know you’re not supposed to talk about the Wuhan Bio Lab lest you be labeled a conspiracy theorist.
