What the hell are you talking about? I NEVER said that SS was supplementing my income! I said that I have to supplement my SS by working (at 72 yrs old). I'm not complaining that I have to work - I actually enjoy it. However, as a WORKING person who's hours have been drastically cut by order of the government, I have no problem accepting the stimulus money. That money will pay my utilities and insurance for a couple of months until my hours of work can, hopefully, go back to normal. It won't be, as you say, "pissed away".
Your original statement was "if your still working and taking SS then you are not in a hardship situation, normally........... and dont need 1200,can use sure piss away sure, need, doubt it". That was VERY disrespectful to older people on SS who need to work to supplement their SS. Who the hell are you to say that anyone isn't in a "hardship situation" or that they're just going to "piss it away"? You're just an arrogant a$$.

Uh, why do SS recipients get a check? It’s not like they’ve been laid off or anything.

Because the Make $18000 a year and the personal deduction is $23000. The extra paperwork clogs up the system, that’s the hook.

I do not know who will and who will not get a check.
Just like most things these days we are at the mercy of the government.

Will she get a stimulus check? She thinks not, but I think maybe.
Yes, she will.

young adults who still live at home will not get a check if they can be claimed as a dependent on anyone elses tax return (whether or not they are actually claimed as a dependent on someones return).

She’s my daughter, lives with me and I claim her on my return every year. Cannot be claimed on anybodies return but mine.

Dependents older than 16, people without a Social Security number, and those with incomes above $99,000 (or $136,500 if you file as a head of household) won't get a stimulus check.

Pro tip: The economy is not, and was not, “great”.
It was a big pile of debts, payments, and paper which is now blowing away. Just look at how people are saying “in a month we won’t have a country left”, speaking about a nation which survived Valley Forge, a civil war, a great depression, and two world wars.
If 30 days of lockdown erases a nation like this one, it was dead already.

Spend all the treasury now? There is no money in the Treasury, and they have not proposed printing US Notes.
The only US money is in Fort Knox, and they aren't sending any of that out.
"Spending all the Treasury", the way you mean it, is just creating more debt through issuance of Federal Reserve Notes and other obligations for future taxpayers.
