Sounds like a blue state lovefest of a briefing. Now I know that the smartest of Americans live in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New Jersey...I understand this, and I understand that the President is a native son...probably Fauci too. But why does the entire USA have to lose their livelihood, their families, their financial wellbeing and savings, their emotional wellbeing because of the 4 super progressive stupid ass MFing states?

Did Trump highlight Franklin Graham and Samaratin’s Purse field hospital in Central Park in the briefing? I do recall it was highlighted on a news report or two (I was switching between FoxNews and CNN).
I suspect Trump personally put in the request and did it in part to give Graham and Samaratin’s Purse some publicity. Personally I am fine with that although I am also a bit amused since the MSM usually seems so anti-Christian and putting up a Christian field hospital in Central Park probably annoys them a bit. Graham mentioned that they had just put up a field hospital in Crimona, Italy, and that that was ground zero of Italy’s COVID-19 crisis right now.
(Actually according to PBS, it is currently the world epicenter of the COVID-19 crisis.)
FWIW someone (forgot which network) also interviewed New Jersey Governor Murphy just before the start of the briefing. Murphy seemed very calm and appreciative of federal help. He said he would not let politics interfere with getting help to New Jersey citizens. He seemed very reasonable-sounding to me.
I think Murphy was interviewed before Connecticut Governor Lamont.
Looking very briefly at Lamont’s background, I see that he was a Greenwich select-person before becoming governor. Also that he is Philips Academy - Harvard - Yale MBA, with his g-grandfather a former JP Morgan chair. I guess this may explain some of where he is coming from.
Good grief Jim Acosta is a stupid #$**@! The doctors almost literally draw him pictures with crayons and explain what they’re saying so a five year old could understand it and he still asks the same question five times over.
