Gov. Andrew Cuomo continued to push for additional help from the federal government as the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread.
There are now 66,497 confirmed coronavirus cases in New York, Cuomo said Monday, including 9,517 hospitalized, 2,352 ICU patients and 4,204 patients who have been hospitalized and discharged.
The death toll climbed to 1,218.
“Big picture is the situation is painfully clear now. There’s no question as to what we’re dealing with. There’s no question as to the consequences. There’s no question as to the grief and loss of life. And there’s no question about what we must do. There are only two missions. There are only two operations that we need to perform. First, the public has to be responsible. Stay at home,” Cuomo said. “It is a mandate. Stay at home. If you’re a non-essential worker, stay at home. If you leave the house you’re exposing yourself to danger. If you leave the house, you’re exposing others to danger.”
Cuomo said the isolation can be oppressive but “it is better than the alternative.”
Cuomo said people must stay six feet apart whenever they go out.
Cuomo again threatened to close down playgrounds if people don’t get the message and stay apart.

Cuomo is another drama queen who needs to turn off the television as do most Americans. The network news is embarassing and dangerous.
So much for the “draft Cuomo” movement. Americans understand leadership and nobody wants a “leader” who blames others and promotes hysteria.
He quickly dodged the question about the hospital that normally orders 10-20 thousand N95 masks a month but now orders 300 thousand a month. Are many of those “going out the back door”? Cuomo took umbrage at the question. Cuomo, national taxpayers WANT TO KNOW, LOOK INTO IT!
The smell of corruption is in the air in New York.
Oh yeah.... while he stockpiles his loot in other states warehouses.
Why is he seeing hem die all around him when he has a lifesaving drug?

NY screwed up yesterday’s data, so today Worldometer had to add 110 deaths to the NY and USA daily numbers.
What looked like a promising trend is less so.
Agreed- NYer’s should get a class action lawsuit goign right now to sue for not being given life saving drugs- the state is committing negligent homicide-
No doubt he is hearing about people dying, probably not “all around him”. The entire state had 240 CV deaths yesterday. But New York City has an average of 420 deaths each day, so that is only about a 50% higher number than what the city sees every day, in the entire state.
So if he is seeing people “dying all around him”, he has been seeing it every year already.
Ok. I read the entire article. He criticizes the plan, he criticizes Trump, while saying he is not going to be political.
He references the supplies he has received and HAS NOT DISTRIBUTED yet.
Nowhere does he say what he wants, or what SPECIFICALLY he thinks should be done.
He is ALMOST at the level of incompetence displayed by the Louisiana governor, and THAT is frightening considering the scope in New York.

The media is just chocked full of stories right now that were written with the sole purpose to attack Trump. It is just sickening.
YEP, he’s bitch’n about people dying while he as only a mere 1,100 in this “treatment” trial while letting the rest of the great unwashed to simply die. This is true however of all of the rest of the states. There are currently 2,854 dead in the USA, of them my guess is 80% or better would be alive right now if they had used the “treatment”, and trust me, they knew it worked.
Total BS histrionics.
