Gov. Andrew Cuomo continued to push for additional help from the federal government as the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread.
There are now 66,497 confirmed coronavirus cases in New York, Cuomo said Monday, including 9,517 hospitalized, 2,352 ICU patients and 4,204 patients who have been hospitalized and discharged.
The death toll climbed to 1,218.
“Big picture is the situation is painfully clear now. There’s no question as to what we’re dealing with. There’s no question as to the consequences. There’s no question as to the grief and loss of life. And there’s no question about what we must do. There are only two missions. There are only two operations that we need to perform. First, the public has to be responsible. Stay at home,” Cuomo said. “It is a mandate. Stay at home. If you’re a non-essential worker, stay at home. If you leave the house you’re exposing yourself to danger. If you leave the house, you’re exposing others to danger.”
Cuomo said the isolation can be oppressive but “it is better than the alternative.”
Cuomo said people must stay six feet apart whenever they go out.
Cuomo again threatened to close down playgrounds if people don’t get the message and stay apart.

Cuomo sounds like the FReeper who justified staying at home and *only* going out and using a vehicle for essential trips as (paraphrase) "there's a greater chance of you getting into an accident if you're on the road, and that takes first-responder resources away from COVID-19".
If you go for a drive with your family, you're not exposing anyone else to danger. Then I guess someone could say you are if your car breaks down... Then I guess someone could say you are if someone tries to carjack you... Then I guess someone could say you are if a tree falls in front of the car and you swerve to avoid it.... And... And....
Cuomos #1 priority before this pandemic was about getting as many illegal aliens as he could into NYC and anyone who was opposed to that he blatant said were “not welcome in NY”.
Drivers licenses for illegals, sanctuary state, ICE is the enemy, Chinese nationals moving in and out like a revolving door coming and going as they please. Trump being called a racist by Cuomo 20 billion times when Trump merely suggested limiting travel from China and now NY not only has the most infected out of any other state, it’s now starting to catch up to Italy for most infected, almost 70,000 which is half of all infected in the USA and incredibly the media is pushing this mofo for President!!! Pushing him like they did Bill Clinton in the early 90s “Look how handsome he is”...Look at this crap.....

It seems that all, if not most, of the epidemic has been in democrat run cities where there is filth in the streets and people are piled on top of one another like rats in a cage.
It would seem that someone somewhere would start asking questions about the correlation between democrats, filth and disease.

Currently a CNN/MSNBC panel is looking into what role Donald Trump played in the assassination of the crown prince in Serajevo in 1917 that started World War One. Preliminary indications are that the evidence is going to be horrible for DJT.

He doesn’t actually want help. He wants to loudly proclaim that he is asking for help and not getting what he wants.
From what I am reading, NY’ers kind of brought most of this on themselves. Especially the “leadership”.
Cuomo brought this on to the voters of NewYork all by himself. He cannot blame anyone else, so suck it up.
