New daily Coronavirus cases in the United States fell for the first time in over a week, according to the latest numbers from Worldometers. On Sunday March 29th, the US registered 18,469 new daily Coronavirus cases, which was down from 19,452 on Saturday. This could very well mark the beginning of a "peak" in new Coronavirus cases in the United States.
While the "total" case number is still seeing steady growth, this drop in "daily new" cases could mean that the exponential spread of the virus has come to a grinding halt. Check out this brand new chart from Worldometers.info:
Another reason these numbers are incredibly encouraging is because we're TESTING more people than ever before. On Sunday, our country conducted 95,000 tests alone, yet we still registered over 1,000 less cases than the previous day. We're not saying the pain is over yet, but this drop in new cases is the first glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel for our country.

The fake legacy media will be greatly disappointed
A possible sign of hope?
What are the democrats going to do now? They won’t have a crisis to bash Trump over.
The number of cases stat is of less importance to me than the number of deaths, which also went down. We’ll see if it’s a trend or just a slow day, though.
As more and more people are being treated with the new drug coctail which seems to be VERY effective, we could see this thing end fast.

Are we over the hump?
I personally wouldn’t draw any conclusions from the raw numbers of positive test results taken over the weekend versus weekdays. But if they drop again today, then that may be a different story.
Just reading “less cases” hurts this grammarian’s ears.
A sure sign that we need to double down on the quarantine.
Hell Many HERE will be disappointed :)
They’ve already rented space at the rapture an it’s non refundable I hear.
I’d want to see this continue for a week or so before I celebrate.
Exponential growth is a scary thing.
But, of course, exponential growth of a virus eventually stops. Maybe we’re at that point.
I always take some of these Monday numbers with a grain of salt, because of the possibility that they’re “down” just because some government agencies may not be reporting accurately on the weekends.
Just wait until the Chicago numbers come in. It's the new hotspot.
Of course the total number would continue to grow.
Oh they’ll cook something else up.
The Ds are already starting to talk about an investigation into Trumps response during the early stages of this virus.
Unless they test everyone every day, they really have no idea how many cases there are, and what the trend is.
Every light beer commercial that brags about less calories irritates me the same way.
Just because the number of cases and deaths decrease doesn’t mean we’re closer to ending the stay in place rulings. My guess is getting out of the rabbit hole will prove far more difficult than it was getting into it. No political official wants to be responsible for an increase in COVID-19 deaths, which will surely happen if the shutdown ends soon. We’ve created a monster (thanks China - rot in hell!), and our politicians are certainly not going to allow this once in a lifetime crisis go to waste.
