There is nothing that will get a bureaucrat off their ass and doing their job faster than the thought of losing their practically no-work job. Fauci looked like a foot dragging bureaucrat who wanted to take months to approve a treatment for coronavirus when the drugs everyone was telling them worked and were approved decades ago with people dying in the meantime. I’m sure he felt the heat of Trump warming up to sign a “your services will no longer be needed after this emergency has passed” letter.
