It would be ridiculous to think that it isn’t airborne. I made a concerted effort to stop getting colds/flu 4 years ago. And I haven’t. What’s my battle plan every flu season?
Stock up in advance so I’m not spending time in stores shopping for shelf-safe staples.
When I do go out, never under any circumstances get anywhere near someone who is coughing or sneezing. If someone does cough or sneeze near me (like within 6 feet) walk away and hold my breath until I’m out of range.
Don’t touch my face while I’m out. Immediately upon coming home I go to the utility sink and wash my hands (never use the kitchen sink).
Thoroughly wash fresh produce and give it a vinegar bath before cooking.
Get lots of Vitamin C and if I do start feeling blah I up the dosage and throw in zinc and echinacea plus get plenty of rest.
I haven’t had a cold since starting this routine. I expect before COVID-19 is done we’ll all be wearing face masks and vinyl gloves when we go out, and that’s fine with me.
Biden for example...is a true old geezer.
Well maybe the choir sucked. There”s an upside to everything.
What was the average age? 153?
It said 45 are diagnosed with Covid 19 - please read.
“It’s not a control group...”
It’s close enough. I would bet that most variables distributions are very similar for the two groups (age, health, gender, etc). Maybe the only difference is one is somewhat more paranoid (cautious?) than the other.
It’d be interesting to compare the two groups and their status. Are there any intrepid investigative reporters out there?
Choir has never been about entertainment. It has always been about adoration of Christ and obedience to using the gifts given in His service.
What are you irrationally babbling about and how do you consider it a response to my comment?
most church choirs are
You fully understand what I am communicating to you.

Bump
Several weeks ago, I opted to cancel our meetings for the
short term. We have now started meeting in a group call
session and I'm happy to relate that it turned out very
nice, our first meeting like that.
It's a Christian fellowship group. It's nice to have other
men to help reinforce Christian beliefs.
The point is, I don't think we need to be meeting in person
right now. Men are 65 to 90 in the group, some younger, but
exposing each of us to perhps on person who is carrying the
disease is too big a chance to take.
I don't want to error and cost some gentleman their life.
Attending church, other groups sessions, I don't think it
serves God well. He expects us to be judicious for our own
well being.
People need to use common sense.
At the pearly gates, I don't expect God to deny men entry
saying "You didn't attend church during the COVID-19
epidemic, so you're outa here."
What he would more likely say is, "Why did you do that
attending church with all that disease out there?"
Wow really bad decisions all around. Can you imagine all the spital droplets flying around while belting out tunes.
Yep both groups had pre selection bias.
“Research has already shown that the coronavirus is nearly twice as contagious as influenza and far more deadly.”
But the CV19 infection rate on the cruise ships was under 20%, far lower than your airplane example, and with a far longer time of exposure.
“The case jolted epidemiologists into the realization that influenza could spread through the air.”
They knew in 1918 that it was spread by droplets in the air from coughs or sneezes. You can see that on flyers from the time.
If you mean spread just by breathing, we are still not sure of that today.
10 years older than me.
It's a moving target...
Let me guess... You're 72.
