The Food and Drug Administration on Sunday issued an emergency use authorization for hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine, decades-old malaria drugs championed by President Donald Trump for coronavirus treatment despite scant evidence.
The agency allowed for the drugs to be "donated to the Strategic National Stockpile to be distributed and prescribed by doctors to hospitalized teen and adult patients with COVID-19, as appropriate, when a clinical trial is not available or feasible," HHS said in a statement, announcing that Sandoz donated 30 million doses of hydroxychloroquine to the stockpile and Bayer donated 1 million doses of chloroquine.

China can suck it. Jmho
Good news!!
Prayers UP!!!
“Well good on the FDA. I didnt think they had it in their DNA to backdown from their entrenched bureaucratic standards. Im glad I was wrong.”
they didn’t, but Trump DNA was transplanted into the FDA by our President ...
Good news!
Anyone who has died in the first week or so before this combo became widely known may have ended up dying. It is inexcusable that anyone in the last few weeks was not at least offered this as a treatment option. Sadly, some of the worst off may have died, buy I suspect most could have been saved.
“What in the world took them so long?”
notice that the FDA emergency approval happened in conjunction with actually finally obtaining a large supply? they probably wait for that to avoid creating a massive panic of the drug not being available ...
I certainly agree with you but too many here and elsewhere are celebrating like it’s VJ Day where I am hoping at the least it’s Midway.
Yet the CDC/NIH/FDA have no treatment for TDS.
Prayers up, America!!
I don’t get it. Do we or don’t we have “right to try”? If so am I not allowed to ask for hydroxychloroquine or any other med if my life is in danger and if I sign waivers, regardless of whether the FDA has approved it or not?
If any one has the answer to these questions, I’d appreciate it.
They’re all suffering from it, and need to be forcibly quarantined for life.
EUA means the FDA approves it for use in an emergency.
Emergency Use Authorization.
Sounds like a plan....
YES you have the right to try!! The Governor in NV. and MI. have no control over you and your physicians right to try NONE!! You can sue the state into oblivion!!!
[[Im all for HCQ/Zpack or any other medicine but there isnt a 100% effective silver bullet in the battle against the coronavirus just yet.]]
There was a 669 person study done, and it had a nearly 100% success rate- another smaller 86 person study done and only 2 died- everyone else recovered-
question is, what condition were they all in? Don’t know- but i do know some were very sick, as two didn’t make it they were so sick
And New York, outside, “Saint” Cuomo’s blessings. The NV governor needs to be sprayed with phlegm from an infected person because of his attitude, the little Stalin.
Great post!
Saw that episode of The Ingraham Angle... amazing! She had another man on her show who also was apparently 'cured' by Hydroxychloroquine. Plus every night she has been featuring several doctors all over the US who are treating patients with HCQ and Z-pack. And they are mostly reporting good results, from what I've heard.
Laura Ingraham really deserves kudos in relentlessly pushing and educating people about HCQ and other (hopeful) treatments for COVID-19.
Amazing what happens when a successful businessman is in charge.
